Please share the basic circuit . Also specify for what type of BLDC motors this circuit is applicable . If the wattage of the BLDC motor is around 300 watts wil this circuit still be applicable or else what changes would be needed in this circuit for higher wattage BLDC motors

if your motor has no Common pin you can connect 3 wires together then a 1k resistor to get the neutral point on resistor free pin and use it as Common wire. for more info see BLDC motor winding structure.. I prefer to use HDD board motor driver instead it is more specialised for the motor itself.... Good luck

Good circuit.
This type of circuits are very much needful for star configuration of BLDC motors but are useless for Delta configuration BLDC motors.
My request is if possible, do not rewind the BLDC motor from delta to star, rather try to make a ESC which is compatible for running all delta configuration motors.

Got components that can handle 14 kW? 120A @ 120Vdc is over 14 kilowatts, 80A @ 120Vdc is about 10 kW.. good luck with that.

I have a 4 wire motor from a hard disk drive but there is no indication which wire should be the ground. I have tested them for continuity but it seems that both end wires are common to the other 3 wires. Is this correct? And if so does it not matter which end wire is connected to common/ground.

1) I built the circuit on a Protoboard, initially to experiment, and I am using 5V 2A as the Power Supply. It is working but usually I have to give the Motor a push. So I don't know if a Power Supply with more Voltage or more Amperage is needed. Any hints?
2) Does this circuit work also for CD Rom Motor? Thanks a lot.

12-90v max but if you want lower voltage input you can use other type of low power mosfet irfz44n or high power 24v mosfet irf3205 its 200w 80A max

It works only clockwise

In your given zip file there is no place for negative input, where I should join the negative input of battery ?

You are right. I have just got my board from the printers and there, is no pin on the board to connect to ground. But from the CD pins 2 and 3 of the Pot are connected to ground and appear to be like this on the board so I am going to try connecting the ground wire to pin 3 of the pot.

nowhere, this circuit cannot drive 3 wire motors, like his thumbnail shows, its bait and click, unless you want to rewind the motor, lol
