Gordy saying cap doesn’t matter? 😂 Brother Api, kikau, capewell, burton would still be there 😂 Critta and leniu wouldn’t be leaving. If there was no cap Penrith would pump every club.
Theyve stayed on top despite their key losses and haven’t missed a beat WITH a harder competition and cap space involved. We are witnessing the greatest team of all time

Then what are you gonna do with all the juniors that are developing at StMarys?
Whenever there's a vacancy, another youngster comes in, and becomes a star. You'd leave them playing second grade?
Just like a farmer, they must cull the heard, and inject new blood. Otherwise you loose your juniors, and your team keeps getting older. Kinda like Wane Bennet's Newcastle (dads army).

Cleary responded in a way that most of us have never seen in a GF. It is what it is, and that effort from the Penrith captain to help get the Panthers over the line is legendary. Such an extraordinary game that it made Gordie the spokesman for SAXA Salt.

As a neutral supporter, Brisbane blew that game.
      That's why he's pissed.
The Broncos team he played in never shut up shop with 20min to go like that.
If Ezra Mam is towelling up the Panthers backline, imagine what Inglis would have done.
Johns and Sterling never missed tackles that led to tries in a GF, let alone 2 in a row.

Gordy needs to wake up to himself and just give credit where credits due. Other than mam getting a hat trick where else in that game did he stand out? Cleary had 20 minutes left and stood up for his team not just by scoring but the 40/20, the set up up for Stephen, the plays and catching the ball on the full from Reynolds. Brisbane played a 60 minute game and Penrith showed why they’re the best. Neither of these teams are my teams so I have no bias opinion and I think Penrith always had the upper hand with their finals experience. I’m glad broncos lost because you don’t win GFs for playing 60 minutes. They’re young and I think a lot of those players have a lot to learn and to get rid of their egos. I’ll say another thing too is that these guys comments about Cleary not being a great, I get it cause he’s still so young and has a long way to go BUT I guarantee you now, if it was Reece Walsh that did those things last night and not Cleary they’d be all over sucking up his ass raving about how he’s already immortal. They just wanna find any way to say Penrith isn’t as good as they actually are. They need to stop talking about Reece, like he is a great player there’s no denying that, but it’s feeding into his head way to much and it comes out onto the field and off. He needs to be humbled and brought back down to earth. I don’t see Nathan being an arrogant, self entitled prick.
Hate it, hate Penrith but they really are a fucking great team and they deserved it last night

Those Manly sides were full of internationals after raids on wests, norths and easts. It wasn’t chopped liver they beat. Also, saying that the great Dragons sides were worth three times the opposition is crap. Wests were the millionaires in those days and spent like drunken sailors in effort to beat the Dragons.
