- The second time in a month I’ve gone into the ferret room and found the TOP of the cage open and the rascals on the loose. The first time I assumed I hadn’t closed the cage securely, but now I think they are just escape artists. I think they will be free roaming soon 🤦♀️#ferretsplaying #ferret #pets #cuteanimals #escapeartist #mischievous
They're trying so hard to look innocent, too.
It just kills me how cute and endearing they are
They look innocent, but they are guilty. Daniel was smart enough not to get caught.
@@cedricjackson7521 they are innocent. You are inexperienced. You don't love them. Go to heavenly ferrets and see how they should be treated. Or rehome them and get some stuffies. You don't need to clean up after them or caged them.
@@jsd8197 it was just an expression.
@@cedricjackson7521 I can tell by the tone of her voice and blaming the for something they can't control. Like pooping. And scapegoating one against the other. Textbook narcissistic behavior.
I’m still trying to figure out how a group of ferrets is called a “business”. it should be called a “chaos”
Absolutely 😂
The proper word is...court.
@@jsd8197 still too serious sounding for a bunch of furry clowns
I hape an important tip! If you dont have these already, i REALLY recommend buying these puppy pee pads and putting them in the corners of your ferret room so if they do escape they don't poop on he ground:) cuz ferrets like to poop in corners btw.
If I have them out for awhile, I usually put pads or paper towels down in the corners 👍🏻
Daniel is the good boi LOL
Usually he’s the naughtiest 😂
Nice grippers
😂😂😂 gotta keep it real
Did they jump from the cage? 😢 Also, with the amount of poop on the floor and in the litter box, those poor fur babies need a clean litter pan both in the cage and on the floor for accident coverage. And no don't fuss at me for commenting. I'm almost 60 and have had ferrets for approximately 40 years.
When I let them out, I put pads in the corners. And yes this before cleaning out the litter boxes. They must have jumped or climbed down- that was the only door that was opened. I don’t know how they didn’t hurt themselves.
@KiddsKritters Wow, I've had that happen a couple of times and it scared me. I almost lost one of my ferrets that way. I couldn't see the piddle pad, and I know those little rascals run to any corner where they can fit their butts. Lol. I've currently got an older ferret with a luxating patella who has just decided ramps are to be avoided and she's just pooping wherever the urge takes her. 🙄 The shelter manager here lost a ferret recently who tried to go through the bars of a Ferret Nation cage and strangled himself. I know there's no solution, but I now have to tug on the doors just to assure myself that they've latched properly. 😥
@@Leatherferret I have gotten in the habit now of tugging on the doors and making sure they are latched now.
the fluff thieves strikes again! masters of escapism! I feel the pain you will have cleaning the poop. Also Hi Daniel X) What we did with our cage is we put a clip on it, so even if the cage is open the clip keeps it closed
I’ve been wanting to let them have the room since I got them, but have been hesitant since the GSD in my profile pic is an inside dog and I work long hours. It made me nervous even though I have locks on the ferret room door. I guess it just proved they’d be okay lol
It's not that Sometimes you have to bang the cage Or doesn't close you only clippers or nothing It's normal I used to do that in the beginning. And I figured it out.
I think they are just telling me they want the whole room 😂
seems to me they should keep the food in another room as well.
@@AngelusNielson they currently have food 24/7 so I’m not sure why they think getting into the storage container is so much fun lol
@@KiddsKritters Ah, I misunderstood and thought they weren't supposed to be in the food. and as to why, it's pretty obvious to me that it's a ferret's natural mischievousness and curiosity in action. Gotta see what's in the container!
You did not just leave your ferrets alone with part of the cage open?
So crazy and wow
No it was not left open 😬
They figured out how to open it I think -
sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet 😍🥰
The thumbnail perfectly captured Samantha’s sweet nature
Put newspapers where the poop. And they hate being caged. How would you like to be caged. If they are that much trouble to toy rehome them. I've rescued ferrets for e0 yrs. And mine are Never caged!
They have plenty of free roaming time. And I do put puppy pads or paper towels down when they are out. Watch their whole story before criticizing. I’m just sharing my experiences.
