I have absolutely no idea what was wrong with her Cher performance. It was Way better than most of the other contestant’s singing. And she did all that with bronchitis? Holy Mackerel.

I hope she gets the chance to do this song again because that was beautiful even being sick! Her falsetto and runs she does going from higher to lower are so magical. If she selects the right songs I think she will win this thing for sure.
I agree Samantha, I thought Abi did a VERY good job here. I didn't hear any bronchitis in her voice, and her chores sounded good. I thought the judges were pretty harsh considering. I guess they wanted to keep her humbled and hungry. I am VERY VERY VERY confident Abi will be standing in the Final 3. After that who the hell knows 🤔🤨🤯🤓😏

WHY did the judges blast her so badly for this performance, I don't get it 🤔 I thought she did good on this song ESPECIALLY for having bronchitis. It's like Katie just turned on her 😤 I don't get it. @@TinyDancerOShe did pick up the guitar at a later age, around 15 or 16 I think she said. I definitely agree with her being a piano master and still within growth of guitar.

A lot of those “big” voices we’ve heard many many times. Abi stands out IMO because she has nuance and soft dynamics. It’s fresh and I like it.
And the cool thing is we the fans can now vote her through and NOT the judges who the way they were acting Abi bombed her Cher performance which I totally disagreed 🤯 Katie was a total b - - - - h about her with her critique
There is ZERO doubt in my mind she will be a lifelong musician. I hope the arenas add extra seating. ❤
What separates an artist from a singer is they can take other people's songs and MAKE IT THEIR OWN. No song that Abi does sounds like the original. That is the difference. She's going to have a long career in the music business because if you think about all the greatest artists out there, they're all different. Nobody makes it to the big time sounding like someone else. Why would I listen to Abi sing IICTBT "in the style of Cher" when I can just listen to Cher? Why would I listen to Abi sing WWIMF in the style of Billie when I can just lister to Billie? She makes the songs her own and THAT is the true mark of an artist.

Not sure how she does it...sings straight from her heart so beautifully. It is captivating and pure, as if she is singing to each one of us individually and drawing us all into a spiritual embrace which can only be described as unconditional love...agape love as referenced in Scripture. She is sharing this pure, real emotion unconditionally and allowing us the audience to remember a time and a place where we too once experienced unconditional love in our lives.
She is very good. Hope her Momma lets this girl fly and take some pressure off.
Best performance of the season in history that I have ever heard in my entire life honestly and her best performance of the season as well! I loved the song choice and that vocal of hers was everything. She did not sound sick at all. She sounded so flawless and perfect the whole performance. And she also hit the high notes as I expected. This is who she is as an artist. She can do no wrong. She's my number 1 favorite this season. Heck she is also fantastic with a guitar too.

Idol would have lost a third of they're audience from EVER watching the show including myself IF they did not vote her through. Abi has a strong fan base who want to see her win. You can tell with the amount of views she gets on her videos. 3 million on her Idol audition and continues to grow, VERY impressive 😎
The judges also gave her the Plantinum ticket and told her she's the BEST they ever heard. And you're going to kick her off the show for playing a Cher tune on the guitar which I thought she did well with, on top of having bronchitis 🤯

I actually liked her version. I didn’t recognize the song at first but it was more melodic.
What the $#%* were they saying that she didn't have this or didn't have that? She had it all! That performance was exquisite. I couldn't believe how she moved up and down different octaves with such ease. Again, a star.

She “dropped out” of in person public school to be homeschooled, dual enrolled in college, got a full time job that she rode a bike to get to, and ended up graduating with a BA before most kids her age were finishing up their first two years. All of the money she made went to getting herself through college. She and her two other older siblings helped out a ton at home with their younger siblings so her mom could go to college at night while working full time during the day to support the family. Now you know the unedited story. It’s easy to judge and jump to conclusions when you don’t know these people personally and rely on spliced, short interviews. She truly is a brilliant musician with a heart of gold.
