I hate how people clown on McGregor. He doesn’t suck at all, just because he lost to arguably the best lightweight ever doesn’t mean he sucks. And I find it hilarious when the people who were brought to mma by McGregor clown on him
Imo Conor McGregor kinda deserves it though. He has been trashtalking everyone exept for Cowboy maybe.
I swear , he just lost 2 fights in the UFC and people say he sucks .

lol thats why he is most paid fighter in ufc because of his trashtalking to make it more interesting to watch it

True, everybody knows the Diaz Brothers are built different
If Nate was a high level welterweight, Conor would lose bad.
Also the big CTE he's gonna get is kinda super bad
I think Nate is one of the few not on doping.
it's refreshing to see something that gives respect to Conor's abilities. The toxic hatred for him online is way over the top, you'd think he'd murdered a child or something.
Never liked him before . but after watching this video ive gained a great amount of respect for this man
well he hit an old man, destroyed a fans phone and destroyed a bus window, besides hes a prick in general in the name of hyping his figths and staying trendy
@Neimne Wasd Yet you feel the need to seek out his videos 🤔 Khabib threw money at a homeless guy to make him dance. People make mistakes. haters feeling the need to flood the comments under every McGregor video is just sheep mentality because it’s now fashionable.
@@L_Martin the homeless guy thing certainly was bad taste but if he didnt want the money he couldve just not do it. I'm just saying conor deserves the hate he gets
@@L_Martin Conor deserves crap for his mistakes, just like Khabib deserves crap for his. The more heinous the crime, the more the hate. It's not mutually exclusive. Besides, look at the complete 180 Conor just did, praising Khabib's father after his death. Just goes to show, Conor's fans are no different than his haters. Nobody's denying his skills, but talented people can still do bad things. And all the hate he's receiving seems to have made him rethink his entire image, so he might be grateful.
I hate to see how unable people are to differentiate between Conor the fighter and Conor the showman. I get it, I’m a sucker for charisma and confidence so I might be a little biased but I feel like his striking ability is just unmatched.
He's one of the best strikers ever but there are strikers better than him.
Unmatched? Really ? I’m guessing you haven’t seen Anderson Silva in his prime.
Alex Sinscere he is unmatched, like others are unmatched.
He is not the only one, but I’ve never seen a fighter outclassed him in striking
Mcgregor is best in the world.
I think everyone would appreciate his skills if they took the emotion out of it. Like I personally can’t stand to hear him talk unless it’s about what weaknesses he sees in opponents and how to approach a certain style of fighter. As far as his stand up skills are when he’s on point they’re amazing I love his in and out movement the way he blindsides you with the left when you’re throwing your right, the optical illusions he uses to make you step inside of his range etc.

Yes bro
he’ll be back soon☘️
Yeah he needs to beat poirier this summer
Good to see I’m not the only one
U can hate conor but u cant deny his ability. However, his biggest weakness is still ground games... he lose all his games thru submission
I feel his biggest issue is stamina. He basically lets the other guy finish when he's subbed on the ground. In the Diaz fight, he didn't have any energy left and didn't want to take more damage standing so he gave his neck... and for khabib, he couldn't handle the constant grappling pressure (yet he did in the first rounds) and again gave his neck.
And his fuckin cardio his cardio is like 90 year old men
@@ImranAhmed-rd3zm Conor gassed to Nate and Khabib so that means he has shit stamina lol those two and ferguson probably have the best cardio in the ufc
Ability what? Yeah righ tapping ability. And retiring ability. He is Conor Mcoward.
His biggest problem is his cardio, he defended takedowns better than former wrestlers and blac belt bjj, I thinks his cardio problem is genetic.
@12:40 dam if aldo wasn't already out cold x3 big john's knee definitely did the job

I’m not a “Conor fanboy” or anything like that; But, I legitimately don’t know if there’s ever been a Fighter that is better _to watch_ - Than ‘Prime Conor McGregor’.
And, even aside from the ‘aesthetics’ - As far as talent/skill: If he had better cardio and a little better takedown defense… He legitimately might’ve been one of the 3-4 Greatest Fighters Ever.
@@twatik Yup.
I actually think Aldo is right there with Jones and GSP, because he had a very similar run-11 title fight wins, against an insane level of competition (arguably, Aldo maybe even had the toughest competition out of the 3 of them)… But, if Conor had better cardio and better TDD I think he would’ve been better than Aldo. Obviously he beat Aldo, but I mean that Conor could’ve had an even more dominant reign that Aldo did.
I’d consider GSP, Jon, and Aldo the three “Greatest” as far as their overall career “achievements/accolades”, but I think Khabib is #1 as far as the best “pound for pound”.

His timing is insanely good.
Prime Conor has the cleanest karate-boxing in the game. He was like a fluid blend of Frank Brennan and Prince Naseem with a dash of Gunnar Nelson.
Ok im new to ufc but I see what people mean when they say he recently switched styles up. He was getting close in and using boxing. But his old style seems to be more kickboxing old school karate style where he's keeping distance farther away, and has a very deep strong grounded stance. Kicking high flexible he would have beat him if he used this style.
his kickboxing/capoiera fighting style is what easily depletes his gas tank. But from watching him, he gets better after a loss.

One of the all time best strikers, EVER. 🙏🏼
Can you imagine how much different the world would be if Connor managed to beat Khabib? So many things would be different
It depends on which Conor you're talking about. If you're referring to The Notorious One, then it won't be a surprising scenery for the fans to indulge with. If its The Rich One, everyone would be immaculate due to his unexpected unrustiness
The world wouldn't be very different
The MMA world would be different for sure. Maybe some crazy Muslim fans would try to assassinate Conor.
If Conor combined his clinch work he used against Poirier and Cerrone, with his karate stance and precision he used against Alvarez, Mendes, Diaz and Aldo, he could’ve done a lot better on the striking front. If he did that and comitted to learning takedown defense, he would’ve had a chance to win.
He has the whole arsenal. So efficient. One of the goat strikers, for sure.
The skill and technical ability prime conor possessed was something to behold, amazing fighter in his prime fr
You can tell a ton of work was done to make this video. Great video and in depth detail man!
I love karate. It's beautiful to see. I'm glad conner is using it so beautifully.
That's a great channel, man! My appreciation from Brazil
When he’s focused and his first priority is fighting, Connor is a different breed of fighter.
If the kicks McGregor threw in the Diaz rematch were calf kicks it would've been a different fight
I keep saying that too. Like Nate would've been done in round 2 if he didn't keep slamming into the thigh. He ate 40 leg kicks, he just needs land half of that to the calf and his leg would've been fucked
Would have been in range more so for a counter. Diaz was looking for it everytime
@@wheelingdbag thing about calf kicks is if the opponent checks one there is a chance your leg might snap like Anderson Silvas😂 high stakes move but most effective
Like how rogan would say ‘ those calf kicks men’ tbh it’s a new technique in mma , not really been used back then a title but more nowadays.
@@seanmcsharry2004 you have to get closer in range to do a low kick to the thigh than the calf (watch tj and Duane ludwigs video of it on the bang Muay Thai channel) so McGregor probably would've been safer throwing calf kicks if anything, and Benson Henderson used them well on him too
The best UFC strikers are: Izzy, Silva, Conor, Wonderboy, TJ and Aldo.

What about Jon Jones?
what about cm punk
@Micah Bell I personally consider her to be better than Amanda
@Micah Bell there is quite a soze difference between the two...but if Valentina was same the size as Amanda, she is almost unbeatable

That was a ton of good-quality editing. Well done, Martial Liam.
Definitely not a Conor fan, but the amount of respect for his art of striking, and martial arts in general I have is immense.
Conor is my favorite fighter because of how intentional he strikes. The worst fights to watch are ones where people basically play rock paper scissors and brainlessly throw out a flurry of hands and legs hoping theirs land and their opponent's don't, but everything Conor does looks intentional like he has all the distances measured and has the spot where he's going to strike picked out and patiently waits for the right moment, and his counter punches look like he can slow time how precisely he lets fists graze past his face.
Dope video brother. I learnt a thing or 2 from this so I appreciate you! Keep up the great content.

Conor was really bringing back traditional martial arts and bringing them to mma
Man watching old McGregor stuff is so wholesome, his striking really was something else. He was so sharp, his reaction time was insane, and that while being absolutely calm and fluid. Very special fighter. Sadly he lost that what made him great over the last few years, his striking is still very very good, but he seemed stiff and slow in his last fights compared to back in the day, he built so much muscle mass and throws everything with so much power now.. it seems he forgot that "timing beats speed and precision beats power"
Dude this is dope you should turn this into a series with other strikers like Silva, Adesanya, Zabit, Cruz etc.
I’ve studied this video several times at this point and I can honestly say this is the best Conor McGregor video on the internet! 🔥👊🏼🔥

I’ve always believed that the reason he is such a effective fighter is because not only his impeccable timing but his balance is amazing. The way he bounces on his feet when he moves in and out of shots is a thing of beauty. Still was happy to see khabib whoop him though but you can’t deny the guy can strike.

Hey liam. Love your vids. You’re super analytical and i always appreciate your attention to detail. Do you think you could an analysis on sugar Sean O’Malley. He seems like a fighter with a lot of tools and techniques. It’ll be interesting to see your breakdown of him.
Conor has only lost twice in the UFC and he avenged one of them.
Someone explain to why he sucks?
You can hate the man, but saying he sucks is ignorant
Just lowlife fans
Conor is a freak athlete, only people who kick box appreciate his ability to gauge distance and he gets even the most hyperaggressive fighters backing up
Conor is a special athlete
Imo why people hating conor is the fact he cheated in the fight with khabib. As you swa in the video he has more wider skills than khabib, khabib only specializes in wrestling. If he would have fought clean then it would be a phenomenal loss. Like he did with nate diaz in first fight he did not cheat and took the loss well. In the fight with khabib he was grabbing his gloves and cage and shorts. Conor sells himself as the skilled mma fighter/athele than other so cheating is not what skilled fighters do. And I’m not a fan of both fighters.
@d3monMnk3y another dummy trying to bring religion into a fist fight

Its nice to surprise ur oppenents with shoulder strikes when its convenient ;), first time i watch something about Mcgregor, nice one.
The body kicks shown here were all front kicks (thrown with the rear or dominant leg), rather than teeps (thrown with the front leg) which are more for gauging and creating distance than causing damage. That’s what I was taught anyway.
Anywho, those spinning back kicks to the body, particularly in his fight with Chad Mendes; and also the one to Diego Brandao’s dome, were absolutely superb. Say what you will about the man, but it’s always a treat to watch Conor fight. Enjoyable video mate. 👍
