So basically taking spurs from 4th to 4th because let's be honest, they never challenged City or Liverpool for the league and never once had a 20+ point gap on Arsenal like Arsenal have had on them the last 2 seasons. It's big ange's 1st season and you can already see what he's trying to do, a few more transfers windows and spurs will be a problem!

There's a lot to like about the big man, but he'll need to adapt more and be far more reactionary in his send season if he wants sustained success that he talks about. Sure there were a few odd refereeing calls but one's entire season shouldn't come down to it.
I didn’t see much control by Tottenham in that game at all
We allowed them to have the ball in areas where they couldn’t hurt us and then clinically punished them in the first half. It’s called being a team that can play in multiple ways rather than just high line and vibes mate.

the one where Spurs had double the xG that Arsenal had & dominated possession. Ref didn't give Spurs a pen, which was made worse when Arsenal then scored. Ref allowed Arsenal to score 2 goals from corners where the GK was clearly obstructed. Fine margins were the difference.

And as for the two corners, Vicario showed how weak he is from set pieces.
White just stood his ground and Vicario allowed him to do it.
It took for Spurs to be three-nil down for Ange to work out that his keeper needed help from those situations, and THEN put a defender in between White and Vicario.
Too little, too late.
For all Spurs' dominance, they didn't have a shot on target until Raya gifted them a goal.

Also for the 2 corner goals, they didn't stand their ground, but you are letting your club allegiances stop you from admitting it. I do agree Ange should have done something to address that tactic before the game started.
End of the day it was a close game, a draw was probably the deserved result but Arsenal got the 3 points so they don't care.
If Ange doesn't see the key issue at the moment is defending set pieces, then I am loosing faith in him sadly.

Saka’s goal should have been chalked, and a penalty given for the foul on Kulu

Now one thing is as clear as day, Tottenham’s defensive set up and execution of set pieces is abysmal(needs real work)
