We literally came from a college visit today from a school recruiting my son, and then i came home and saw this video. I have no idea if my son will make it to the NFL, and i could care less if he does, but the bond that football and this journey has built with us is priceless! Enjoy retirement AD! I think he has a better chance of suiting back up for the Rams if they make the playoffs than the Steelers. Especially if the Rams can secure that bye....i could see a Eric Weddle type come back for those final 3 games if they make it.
Aaron what a fantastic career you had, I have been a Rams fan all my life and have watched every one of your games you are a true inspiration to all kids out there what hard work will get you in life, sounds like you have an amazing family, when you said all you ever wanted was to make your dad proud and that was all that mattered that really told me how much you really love and respect your parents and appreciate everything they did for you growing up and I really admire that I wish more kids acted like that now days, you seem at peace with your decision and I wish you nothing but the best thanks for the memories it sure will be strange not seeing 99 out there on Sundays!

I hope more people realize how good AD was , sometimes it’s hard to see at his position. But you can always tell how good a player is when you listen to other players speak about him. I have never heard another player say anything bad about his play on the field. They all respect his greatness and hard work.
