- Check out in my opinion of what I consider to be one of the BEST hotels in Alcudia, with my hotel review of the BQ Delfin Azul hotel in Alcudia, Mallorca (Majorca) Spain.
If you have already booked or are looking to book a great hotel in Mallorca, then here is my review of the BQ Delfin Azul hotel in Alcudia so you know what you can expect from your stay here.
I'll show you around the room we stayed in, and check out what's included, as well as the balcony area and the bathroom.
We'll take a tour of the facilities and the outdoor spaces including the swimming pool and waterpark area.
You'll also find out what the suurounding area is like and how easy it is to reach Alcudia Port.
I'll also give you my very honest opinion of our stay here, how friendly the staff are and of course and give you an update on the sunbed wars which I have previously reported taking place in hotels around Mallorca. Did we easily get a sunbed?

I'm so glad Lee did the vlogs with you otherwise I would never have found you . We stayed at this hotel about 14years ago and I was a lovely hotel then the children's entertainer she was fantastic and staff was lovely too. Its changed a little bit but the main bit still looks the same . Xx

Staying here at the moment, it is our 5th visit,a lovely hotel,staff are brilliant and friendly and food is delicious , could not recommend it enough ♥️

So pleased you did the Delfin Azul we my late husband and I took our children there. Now all grown up. It was May 1981 and then again Sept 1981 we felt very lucky. Later we tried Can Pastilla and loved that too but cannot remember hotel now probably probably remember it later on. Thanks for going there brought back memories for me very happy ones. ❤ Loved it. Thank you so much. 😊

Alex, this place looks amazing! Fantastic review of it and you covered just about everything that anyone could want to know about staying there. It looks and sounds a really relaxing and happy place stay. That buffet breakfast looked awesome too! One of my favourite parts of staying in a hotel for sure! The hotel has been there for quite a few years Alex but was renovated around 2015 I think. I stayed there in 2018 and it felt fresh, clean and modern.
The bedrooms were small, even for just the two of us, but it wasn’t a big problem because everything else made up for that. The pool bar was lovely both in the daytime and nightime and the drinks were very reasonably priced. Great for both couples and families I’d say. ☀️
Absolutely ! They’ve managed to maintain it really well and it still feels fresh and clean which is great!
Stayed there before it was refurbished when the kids were younger, great holiday and hotel was fantastic, still in contact with a family we met there

This is a lovely hotel. Stayed with my son a few years back. Plus everything is nearby and short walk to the beach too

We brought our children here for their first abroad holiday back in 2015, great for kids and great for families. Room was on tiny side but as you say it’s there to sleep in. There always used to be a mad rush for the doors to open at 8am so you could put towels down in sun beds. That was mid august though. Overall a great hotel.

Stayed at this hotel 15 years ago and it was beautiful then clean and staff welcoming would definitely stop again plenty for children to do and the beach is about 5 maybe10 mins walk away very nice clean
It’s great they’ve got such a great reputation after all these years! And absolutely - this is a great spot for kids !
I have to say i LOVE this type of video, visiting the hotels and resorts giving us your honest opinion is fantastic! Please keep more like this coming! 😁 Any chance you could check out APARTHOTEL ALCUDIA BEACH in the next one? We are due to stay there in October and we are very nervous about it due to the mix reviews.
I would love to do more of these, but I can't afford to book the nights stay! Hoping to have some hotel review videos in the future though! Watch this space!

I’m not jealous (ok I’m sooo jealous) it looks amazing there. I always wanted to stay at the delfin but it was never offered on any the booking site’s I use. Brilliant video I’m glad you enjoyed your break in alcudia

First hotel I ever stayed in abroad... although it wasn't a 4* in the early 80s and had those no internal door lifts of the time. Intend to return and see it in it's 4* 2020s look

Great Review , is BQ Delphin Azul the hotel that at night all the balconies light up different bright colours? We stayed just round the corner at Alcudia Beach Hotel and walked past here and am sure it looked great of a night x

Oh wow! Either the hotel underwent a massive refurb recently or they have managed to keep it looking pristine and new!
@@MallorcaUnderTheSun I liked the way the balconies are angled so no-one can see each other and to get more sun of course.
Believe our hotel, Aluasoul, Alcudia Bay, compares very favourably to the BQ. Great entertainment last night on the patio next to the pool. Cannot fault the food. Vast amount of hot and cold meats, fish, salads, fruit, sweets. We have a superior room with a 60" TV, balcony, pool and mountain view, luxurious shower, bathrobes and slippers provided. Everthing spotlessly clean. Would definitely come again.

I completely agree with you alex, it's a lovely hotel (actually the 2nd best hotel I've stayed in) I was there the first week of may this year and would definitely recommend it 🙂 xx

@shonacarmichael7060 st elias resort, protaras, Cyprus. It's part of the louis chain of hotels, haven't heard a bad word apart from glowing comments about any hotel in that chain from people that I know that have stayed in others either, they really do go above and beyond and the food is out of this world 😊

Hi. I was in room 513 last month. Better sea view. Love this hotel. Only thing is, you can't relax by the pool,as their always playing loud music. Other than that, fantastic hotel.
Ha, we avoided it during aqua aerobics, but they're switching it off now. I think people complained !

Stayed there a few years . Got bit to death by mosquitoes. I love majorca but unfortunately it doesn't love me. Been 5 times and got bit every time.
Oh no Karen, that's not good to hear. Do you wear repellant, and have you tried Jungle Formula? Last year, the one time I didn't wear any, they got me 34 times!

Really sorry Michael, I'm not quite sure what foods are included in a gluten free diet. But if you look at the breakfast bar footage, you may be able to get an idea!
