    If you have every had a loose towel bar, then you know how annoying they can be. Even if the towel rack was installed with wall anchors, they can be pulled loose from the wall pretty easily. In this video I will show you how to remove the towel bar and replace the drywall anchors with toggle bolts to fix your loose towel bar permanently!

    Love this solution! Much more elegant than using messy caulk or spackle.

      This works great as long as the hole is not torn out too big. I wish the towel bars would just come with toggle bolts to start with. it was save people having to replace them when they tear out.

      @@RoscoReviews , worked like a charm! Hopefully my 14 year old will be more careful with our towel racks from now on, lol.

    I like the toggle bolt solution, but what if the hole that was made is much bigger bigger?

    • @RoscoReviews
      @RoscoReviews  Před měsícem +2

      If the hole is bigger than the toggle bolt. I would probably consider moving the towel rack up a couple inches. if you patch the holes and move it up a little bit it will cover the holes a little bit and then you can use the toggle bolts in the new holes.

    Would these screws and anchors work for a curtain rod bracket as well?

    • @RoscoReviews
      @RoscoReviews  Před 2 měsíci +1

      Sure! These are called toggle bolts. In my opinion, they are the most secure type of drywall anchor.

      I don’t think I would recommend hanging anting very heavy on a rack that is glued to the wall. Lol

      Okay but it’s just glued to paint lol. Ever heard the saying a chain is only as strong as it’s weakest link? Same goes for this. Superglue may be strong yes, but the paint will flake off lol.
