Cool finds from those hunts Jeff . Love that watch winder, suspender clip , cantten stopper & all those musket and pistol balls . As well as those three ringers .I have heard or read somewhere that towards the end of the war . The South was running out of everything . Including lead for making bullets . So they definately took good aim so not to waste valuable Ammunition . I would think that they would have done all they could to save on lead for thier Ammo (Maybe even shaving a little lead from thier bullets ?) . Now Jeff , take what I just said with a grain of salt ....Because I have never dug a Civil War bullet , or Relic as I am in the wrong area for hunting those things (ChicagoLand) ...I have dug many new era bullets in Chicago parks , as the Gangs around here don't care about wasting Ammo on their Gang enemies , or innocent byestanders for that matter ...lol..... Good video & I liked seing Seven out there with you . I'll give you a call Monday or Tuesday as to make plans for a Friday get together .

+TennesseeJeff Actually it is! Went back for follow up x rays Thursday and found out this it is not broken after all and just a bad sprain.... This cast is off, a little sore yet but on the serious rebound!
Great job. If you are interested in finding more information on the bullets then look into aquachigger past videos . He did a fantastic job on the history and type of ammunition from the civil war. He is down your way , i think in Virginia. He is into hunting the water ways of the state.
