- City and Arsenal shared the Premier League spoils as the two title contenders fought out a combative goalless Easter Sunday draw at the Etihad.
In what was a tense, feisty affair, chances proved at a premium at both ends of the field as for the first time in 58 games City were denied a goal on home soil.
Nathan Ake and Mateo Kovacic both went close for City whilst former Blue Gabriel Jesus and sub Leandro Trossard threatened for the visitors.
In the end though, the two were forced to settle for a point with Liverpool emerging as new leaders after their earlier 2-1 win at home to Brighton.

Having watched the whole game I would say it was quite even - neither team had very clear chances. Pretty boring to be honest.
Ake had the only clear chance on that corner. After his deflection at the Emirates, it would have been fair to him if his header had been decisive this time, too.

Arsenal came with a clear focus on securing a draw, which isn't illegal, but it led to a rather defensive and uninspiring game.

Help me understand something, Rico Lewis did that Marseille turn or whatever that move is called and got into arsenal box slipped a pass to Foden for a 1-2 and all Foden had to do was return the pass to the elusive Rico Lewis and Rico would have been through on goal but instead Foden passed the ball back to another player..
Llike this is so frustrating to watch. Why didn't he just complete the 1-2 by returning the pass to Rico
A lot of people talk about Trossard not playing the pass Martinelli but this Mancity scenario is even more frustrating
I swear. Foden be making all the wrong decisions at the right places. Same with de bruyne, lewis was free to attack the arsenal boxes, gives him one look and decides against passing the ball to him and eventually lost possession to arsenal.
It's stupid if these guys cannot trust their teammates in games like this when they themselves didn't do anything 🤷🏽♂️

I've been saying that losing Gundogan was probably the biggest lost to this team, we haven't replaced him at all! This team has been poor this season with KDB injuries and lack of consistency defensively and in attack. If we face Real Madrid you'll see just how so much we miss players like Gundogan, Cancelo and Mahrez!

Blame Pep. He's depleted the squad's strength last year by selling Mahrez, Gundogan, Palmer, selling mahrez and gundo has reduced the teams power by 25 percent.

Arsenal got better chances to put the ball in the net, the only problem was that most of the chances landed into Jesus's hands. Even that clear chance laid by Bukayo where he only needed to slide early enough. He waited to slide when the ball had gone.
Everybody knows haaland ghosts in big games. But for me the real ghost was phil foden. He was literally non existent than haaland. I don't know if he has got a touch in the game vs arsenal. Like haaland, foden too is not a big game player.
