In case you guys didn't know, Acura got rid of their previous designer and got a new one(not really new, he designed the 04 generation TL), hence all these new models and the Precision concept model that Acura is adapting.

I could not do your job. There was somebody singing and I was like, omg, can you not see people making videos. With my rant aside I am so glad that Acura is finally making the move in making completely new vehicles without parts being shared. That RDX looks completely different from anything I have seen out of Acura and Honda Vehicles. Bravo Acura!

I am quite impressed. The next generation RDX really has evolved... Its aggressive, lavish, sophisticated, and even more mature looking!
Honestly, if the production model looks as good as this prototype, it will probably make its way up to one of the best selling vehicles in its class.

I've been really disliking acura over the last few years. I've felt their products were boring and lacking innovation. but needless to say, I am very impressed by the interior of this car. I am glad they are finally modernizing the exterior looks as well. its about time, about time!

Agreed that they look great. But also means a rougher ride and that is not what a typical SUV buyer is looking for. Give us a fatter tire with more footprint and a better ride.
THIS is the RDX I wanted. This is gping to be a sales hit for sure.Wish they'd put the Accord's hybrid system in this as an option as well.
I heard they are bringing a 3.0T V6 Type S in this I think in the near feature!
TheVP hybrid SUVs are tough to sell they just end up sitting at dealerships till the next model year I've seen that so much times

FINALLY an interior worth the price. As a TL owner the one thing I wish was a more upscale interior. The design is nice but it just needs more premium material usage. Seeing this is so satisfying knowing that Honda finally cares to be relevant. Im so proud legit legit

TOTO Cult True. But for some reason, they look great on the RDX. There are some small details that made them look cool enough. Perhaps all the Accord need is smoked taillights
Looks way better. I hope the production model keep that cool colorless looking turn signal (colorless/clear until the turn signal is activated). It will be a hit. I like it.
Very correct. The lights on this RDX will carry over to the accord in a few years for a mid cycle refresh and just convert it to this finer LED like the RDX.

Acura might just become the Luxury+Performance brand they've been struggling to become for a while. In the mean time, I'll consider Acura for their crossovers but Infiniti and Lexus for them grand tourers/sedans.
If Acura can introduce this interior design language to the rest of their line next year, they will have a lot of happy drivers and customers. We want your brand to succeed!

Being an ex-owner of a TLX, I know what is Acura. I am eagerly looking for the arrival of this new RDX. However want to see where it stands against Audi Q5 and AR’s Stelvio. I am sure, my next car is one of these 3.

I'm loving this new design queue from Acura. This looks promising!!! Finally we got a winner from Acura.
To get me out of a fully loaded RX with 20" wheels. It's going to have to be damn nice. It will be at least $100 or more less a month to lease.

Interested to see how that new engine will be, I have a '08 RDX and it's fun to drive, the turbo lag is the one of the downsides so it be interesting to see how it compares. I love the new interior, definitely will be interested in what the A-Spec line will be. Really appreciate the content you and your team are pushing out. Great work and awesome reviews. 👍👌👏
Jorge Cerda The original RDX Turbo was a pig! Slow like you mentioned with terrible throttle response and fuel economy. Even though this is a Accord 2.0T and 10-speed but extra weight and AWD.

In love with this and so excited to see them on the roads/showroom floor! Glad to see the SH-AWD is back on the RDX and I am curious to see what transmission they are going to use. In-house 8 speed DCT, ZF8 speed, 9 speed, or the 10 speed automatic found in the Accord. Personally I love the 8 speed DCT found in the ILX/TLX but, the ZF 8 speed is also a very good choice! Hope fuel economy doesn't become an issue and please keep that gorgeous red throughout the entire lineup!

This is a beautiful car! I have an X5 and like the car, but it has had some very experience reliability issues. This seems like a serious Japanese competitor to the X5 -- finally. I hope they consider bringing in a V6 with AWD. Can't wait for his review and road test of this car.
