  • Six top biotech VCs share how they evaluate ideas and give advice on how to raise money. The format is two "mock pitches" of hypothetical companies, followed by a discussion on how to run a good fundraising process.
The goal of the mock pitches is to show how VCs evaluate companies and illustrate some common pitching pitfalls. Each pitch will have some good elements, and some not-so-good elements.
    The panel includes:
    Sarah Bhagat, Principal, Sofinnova
    Mira Chaurushiya, Principal, 5AM Ventures
    Rich Gaster, Principal, venBio Partners
Cristina Ghenoiu, SVP R&D Operations, Epirium Bio
    Julie Grant, General Partner, Canaan
JJ Kang, Partner, The Column Group

What did you think of the mock pitches? Any questions on the terminology or jargon?
