  • Holding onto to the handle as long as you can before the bouy is always best right...? Well hopefully in this video I will help you understand why this thought can be harmful to your slaloming and where you could be going wrong

My son was trying his first one handers the other day. This video is spot on and well explained. And since the info is not coming from me, there’s a chance he will listen. Thanks!!

Thank you! It’s a tricky time letting go for the first time but once he’s away he’ll be flying!

I feel like this could have beena great jump video! How do I carry my backside (left) shoulder carrying out wide after the second wake and carry it through the ramp?

Gidday Rob from New Zealand Really like your instructional vids .I have a question. When do you turn in for the gates? What do you use as a mark when to turn in?Do you wait till you see the gates or do you use the boat as a marker.Your comments would be helpful Thanks Andrew James

I am still trying to get 15 off (we joined a ski club in September last year, I did not ski over winter). I don’t feel the need to let go at all. I made the buoys once a couple weeks ago. At what rope length is it necessary to let go with one hand?

Hey, so it really depends on each person but usually from around 24mph (depending on your weight/ski type). However If your technique is feeling good and you can run the course smoothly/early I would recommend you start learning how to let go with one hand. I like the idea of this for a video at some point!
