Absolutely one of the greatest Duo albums ever made. Wow been 10 years since it dropped, still bumping it on the regular. Honestly I don't think there will ever be another hip hop duo album on that level.
The moment i heard jay’s voice in the 1st listening party, i had 360degree smile. The throne is back. My 2 childhood heroes are back. btw, 4:44 and ye comparison was something i never had thought before and i began the realise that they were kind of in the same situation in life during 4:44 and ye-era.
I really appreciate how you drew parallels between ye and 4:44, then ended full circle with a mention of Jail 🙌🏻 You’d think everything that needs to be said about this album is already out there, but this was a really fresh perspective, thank you!
I know Jay is respected and all that, but he’s not the level of vulnerability of Kanye. Because we all can see and share Kanye’s complete deconstruction in his music…. because he has that creative ability to express it in his music perfectly. This is why he’s a better artist and musician overall. But in the end I have nothing but love for both, maybe a little more for Kanye.
