@@ivanhornak7644 They could know more. I mean that quote from the attorney saying that the case will be dismissed means nothing -- that's what any good attorney should say. But it could also be another case of a big company bending over backwards to protect their ESG rating. Scandals like these can affect funding and ad spend not only on Adult Swim, but also its parent companies. Which is a major reason why big businesses have been so quick to kill entire shows based only on allegations lately.

They literally did the same thing to Johnny Depp and look where that went, Johnny ended up getting the W and the audience backing him while Warner bros and the creator of Harry Potter ended up losing millions of dollars. The same thing will happen here, they literally killed their only cash cow. They just hurt their brand so bad and they don't realize it.
While the details of Roiland's case hasn't come out yet, It's disheartening to see another legend fall on behalf of sexual degeneracy. I still think David Ellefson was done dirty by the news and his own band, but I hope Justin's not in the same boat. What Ellefson did was immoral, yes, but it wasn't illegal and I still think dropping him was the wrong move.
As for Justin, I think the details need to be known before coming to a conclusion. It sounds bad. And it sounds like he needed to be let go. However, his legal team seems extremely confident in proving the claims wrong. I think it might be a bit early for Adult Swim to drop him. I understand that they don't want the controversy and the turmoil that follows it, but from what Justin's legal team has said it seems like there might be a good chance he's proven innocent or at the very least: not as guilty as they say.
Either way, I'm shocked by these allegations and hope justice is true and fair in this case. If the allegations are true I support dropping Roiland from Adult Swim and every other project, however if the claims are proved to be false, it would be a *damn* shame to lose such an icon on an untrue allegation.
I look forward to seeing the verdict of the case as well as the actions Adult Swim and other partner's of Roiland choose after the verdict is reached.

I agree. It does sound bad, and it might be, but on the other hand it might not. For example if me and my wife got into a heated argument and I was standing in front of the only exit in the room whether I even realized it or not, she could literally file false imprisonment. Legal charges are weird and we just don't know anything.

The arrest happened January 2020...it took two years to be found guilty and Jane Doe doesn't want her name public knowledge. She didn't take a NDA for money and pursued trial...so I am thinking it must have been really bad. A lot of Harvey Weinstein victims took the money in a NDA for his behavior to be quiet for too long.
Of coarse his defense attorney is hoping that charges will be dropped because it's been two years. He is hoping maybe Jane Doe is tired of waiting for justice to drop charges or not follow through and prioritize her life over this trial. The first hearing occured THIS MONTH 😳 so Justin Roliand must be very nervous of this coming to light and trying to slow his celebrity fame by stepping down and put the focus on a new voice. He is not proven guilty yet but from what I know of the justice system...it's very likely that he is at fault for not controlling his anger. He should kick her out if she was the aggressor or call cops to take her out. Call her parents and make them listen to her being a nutcase.
I know women are at fault at times too but women at fault without fame ALWAYS take the NDA $$$. A lot of women victims take the NDA just to avoid further conflict with the perpetrator and put it behind them.
Amber Herd has money and fame so her goals was not justice to keep him from hurting anyone else...it was to prove she was right as a narcissistic b**ch and luckily proven wrong.
Still domestic violence is usually about control...the victim didn't obey, was negative, or disrespectful. Aggressors get angry. Aggressors have to force obedience through violence. They are going to blame victim for why they had to hurt them so bad. 😟
Hopefully he just apologizes, pays for her medical and time lost from work due to injury and trauma, jail time as needed, and gets treatment himself. Yep he ruined his life in this incident.. The prosecutor haven't offered a plea deal yet...but I think he will take it if jail time/ probation is light enough.
Violence should not be tolerated in people with power and fame. It can only be encouraged when defending someone weaker from an attack.
His employer will definitely reject him as more proof of the incident comes out since they don't want that violence towards women

A lot had to be scrutinized for felony domestic battery and false imprisonment charges up to Jane Doe being hospitalized for medical records of the incident. Defensive marks on her and him. The severity in cuts and impact bruises. Intoxication levels of both people. Witness accounts from the officers called in, friends, neighbors, and family. Any previous messaging to demonstrate the relationship dynamics and if violent behavior was routine or first time.
For example...my ex husband mixed drugs and alcohol to black out violence with crazy delusions. He broke through sliding door windows and tore off a staircase railing to use as a bat against me.
I got away, hid in the woods, and called the cops on him. He fought the cops when they came in. I wasn't injured at all. Our relationship was fine until drugs or alcohol came into the situation. I was smart enough to know to never drink or use drugs especially when I need to have a level head of the dangers when he drinks or does drugs. I hid the keys and held on to the phone. Called his parents to come over for help too.
If I had a divorce from the incident and pressed charges...it's not just my allegations. It's the officers who came in and his parents I called for help. It's the proof of damage that makes the initial charges of violence.
It was felony level for the damage but listed as disorderly conduct since I was never hit.

The charges are rough though and a police officer had to file the report of the event with her getting medical treatment. Maybe he can prove that she has been excessively violent with him and he acted in defense 🤷

Johnny Depp is a better example of an accused, punishment then proven innocent example. He lost his career opportunities just by being accused. Justin Roland may be guilty or it may surprise us to learn his not. If he's found guilty then he deserves what he gets. We see anymore that people are punished even if they had nothing to do with a crime. It's not innocent till proven guilty it's....guilty until you have proven innocents.

Nah, they won't bring him back. At this point, the only way Justin gets brought back is after a trial, and he's found innocent.
