  • Stop Water Leaks into the steps and footwells of your Ford Transit MK5 Van . This video will show you the 3x key areas to check for leaks and how you can stop them. These leaks that I have identified are the causes of the steps and the inner and outer chassis sills rusting out

Hiya Cliff how ya doin ? I have just had a huge load of welding to do on the van because I forgot to fit those plastic channel strips to my own van I'm always banging on about. doh!... so both the sills had rusted out. Anyway she's passed the MOT for another year and I'm looking forward to taking her on a short trip end of the month. Campers and great ,you just have that reassurance and feeling of freedom and independance you have with your first bike . if everything goes titsup I can just put the bike on the back ,move into the van and live in that .....

Thanks John. Very good and helpful video. I have this problem with the cab leaking also. And now I have a park pilot malfunction error and also the Bluetooth mic has failed I'm wondering if these are related to the water leak issue and caused the components to fail. Do you think that's a likely scenario? Edit - Sorry wrong van!! I have a 2017 custom. Found you through the forum.

Hi jamie sorry I didn't see your post. Are you asking about the prop shaft universal joints (UJ's) or about the prop shaft carrier bearing s ? which year van do you have ? is it a LWB ? SWB flatbed, Tourneo ? I need more information in order to help you. See my other video about prop shaft bearing replacement .
