Also, a year ago someone has posted much more Shimon Dzigan Show material on CZcams, even colorizing whole shows. They have this Chava number in a show labeled 1975, starting at 13:41 (out of 55 minutes). [But it might have been filmed earlier, if this program was a collection/"best-of" special.] The episode includes an excerpt of Dzigan's Golda Meir routine based on her 1973 trip to Washington, DC. Does anyone know when this was filmed? I'm guessing 1968 (that year, Shimen Dzigan turned 63 and Chava Alberstein would have been 23) or a little later. Was this from a regular show on Israeli television (which, I believe, did not exist until 1968), or was it from a special? Or was it from a film? (Israel lifted ban on color television in 1981.) Dzigan performed until the year he died (1980) at age 75 or so, but he doesn't look that old. in this video. His old partner, Yisroel Shumacher, died in 1961 (age 52 or 53), a year after they broke up their partnership. (In 1960, Chava was 13, so this cannot be Shumacher, ironing. That man is, I guess, a replacement for Shumacher when Dzigan performed his old skits.)

Based on the texture of the image, this is clearly television, not film -- that is 100% certain. I think you're right re the approximate date.
