All I can say is wow. I have played drums for 15 years now and this 7 year old kid is way better than me. I think Caleb is going to be big and i hope he's going to be in a great band someday. Rock on little dude. An inspiration for all young and future drummers.
i mean for 7 years old he's very talented and plays well for his age...and no offense but 15 years playtime and you play worse than this? i suggest, you may need to do some actual practicing for a bit. xD
@@Supermann124 Haha I hear you. I played a lot the first years and is mostly self taught. And when i got kids the time behind the drumkit got a lot less. So yeah I don't practice as much as I want to or need to. But I rather play a little here and there then not playing at all 😊

@@amyicy9333 Ok, sounds you both got some good out of it. Even if I will not become a great drummer. I'm totally satisfied by playing when I can and have fun doing it. The last couple of years I have been in a band doing some covers and had a lot of fun. I rather play drums semi good than not at all 🤭

What I love most about Caleb is not just how good he can play already at his age. The thing I love the most is that his parents saw he had a passion for something and rather than what I see a good amount of parents do, which isn't encourage it. They found ways to get him kits and help him become what he is today at 7!!
As a mother of two and a long time metal head, this warms my soul. I love this child and I want to meet his parents. This boy is already a legend!

You can tell how consistent he is by the wear on his snare head. Literally insane how amazing he is at his age.

There are so many ways to remark on this kid's ability but I just wanted to call attention to the ergonomics. Imagine having to play fast double bass from an almost standing position and with your snare almost sticking in your chest. As soon as I can find a barstool to replace my throne I'm going to try this out just so I can appreciate his ability even more.
One of my favorite Caleb moves is smiling gleefully into the camera and then remembering, "Oh yeah, I'm supposed to be a badass right now"

I just hope Caleb won't loose his interest while growing up. He is great.
One of the most incredible and mysterious things about humans is that it seems like many of us were born to do something. It takes decades for some of us to find our thing, and many more never find something that they connect with on a visceral level. Caleb is not only fortunate, he's a potent example of dedication and hard work, especially for someone so young. Watching him crush Eyeless by Slipknot was inspiring and pure joy.
Honestly at age of 7 i was still figuring out how to play "we will rock you" by Queen. I must say this kid really is IMPRESSIVE.
Jay Weinberg gave that young man his signature snare, it sounds bloody amazing 😂

7 years old playing Slipknot if Joey were alive today he probably would take him under his wing for the whole day unbelievable props to Jay for giving him his snare very cool much respect.. there are people out there when they're twenties that can't even play Slipknot songs perfection this kid's amazing he has power effortlessly and great timing..
I know i'm 8 months late, but Joey did get to see his videos Joeys girlfriend(?) commented on one of Caleb's videos.

@@Mp57navy Such a bullshit. Sure, everyone can reach some decent level at drumming, playing guitar or trowing 10 out of 10 balls in a fucking basket. But for one it's 2-3 years of rapid progress, for another it's 10+ years of really HARD WORK. That's real life. We're not equal in everything. It's about genetic abilities and predispositions. You have to deal with it and shut the fuck up, mate.

This talented young fellow comes from Cumbria where I live. Incredible that he's spread worldwide. He got to play at one of our local festivals. I think he played my hero by foo fighters. Bright future ahead.

This kid jams! At 7 years old, he’s got a good grasp of a lot of complex fills and how they fit into the songs. I'm 22 years old and I'm freaking jelly of his skills lol I can't wait to see what he's gonna be doing for Metal music in the future if he is looking to pursue a career in music, joining a band etc . I watch my son with so much skill and access to gaming (similar age), and I’m just as jealous as you are of Caleb because of how far ahead kids can be now.
