    You need to get her to upgrade that exhaust or cut out the mid mufflers. Let that V-8 sound the way it's supposed to. If she doesn't want to drop $1,500-$2,000 on a new cat back system, you can get straight pipe put in where the mids are for around $200. If you leave the resonators on the back the drone is minimal but man does it sound better when you get on it.
    Good in depth review. Very thorough and informative.

      Thanks! I'll be working on trying to get her to let me modify it. It was a struggle to get her to let me put the JLT Oil Separator on...LOL!

    You did an EXCELLENT review of this car brother! I'm surprised that you aren't a spokesperson for Dodge, as that is what I would've thought if I didn't know better. I am in the process of getting my drivers permit, and then my license between now and the next month and I have been looking for my hearts desire in what I want for my first car. I always did like the Dodge Chargers from when they first came out back in the day, but for some reason, before I started looking up information about this charger, I was actually content with wanting to get a 2017 Ford Fusion Sport! 😨 I can't believe I was going to choose that Ford over this! So but now I'm TRULY back to Dodge and this is the car I am praying for for to God to bless me with after I get my drivers license. Thanks for the review again! You're review has me SUPER EXCITED for when I finally get mine!

    We just got the 2017 R/T in white. Before we had the 2011 R/T in black. Dodge has really stepped up to the front in a big way with these cars. My wife and I were hardcore mustang fans before now. 😎😎😎

    • @ALLCYLINDERSTV
      @ALLCYLINDERSTV  Před 7 lety +1

      I love the R/T in white! That's what she wanted initially, but it was gone when we went back. So, she had to go with black.

    Dodge really needs to make the Durango's R/Ts interior like the Charger's. Why do you need an r/t stamped on you seats? Charger has a classy and subdued interior

    • @ALLCYLINDERSTV
      @ALLCYLINDERSTV  Před 7 lety

      Yeah, I really like the interior. I personally prefer leather, but she didn't want to deal with the hot seats in the summer time. Not like she ever lets me drive it anyways....LOL!

  • @MachineDJP
    @MachineDJP Před 7 lety +1

    Thanks for the review! You mentioned you would pick the Charger over the Challenger. What about vs a Mustang? Granted, the Charger will have the advantage concerning backseat room but wondered what your thoughts were for the rest. The 2018 Mustang is getting a refresh by dropping the V6, enhancing the EcoBoost, and additional upgrades for the GT for power and fuel economy.

    • @ALLCYLINDERSTV
      @ALLCYLINDERSTV  Před 7 lety +1

      I'm a Mustang guy, so I'd take the Mustang over the Charger. But, if you're talking a Hellcat vs a GT Mustang for the same price, I'd have a hard time passing up the Hellcat. Of course you won't get a Hellcat for the same price as a GT.

    • @MachineDJP
      @MachineDJP Před 7 lety

      Hellcat and GT -- nah. That's too much. I would be after the fuel economy and more comfortable ride. So, the V6/EcoBoost Stang would suit me or the V6 SE/SXT Charger or V6 SXT Challenger. When you start going up in trim levels, the size of the wheels and suspension tuning is changed making the ride quality firmer for sportiness. I'm not into racing or burning the back tires off. I want a cruiser to sit back in and enjoy the ride. Even though they are not the V8s, the smaller engines still have enough horsepower and torque to pull the weight of the vehicle up and down hills on the highway without making it downshift while utilizing cruise control. The past several vehicles I have owned all have 1.6 or 1.8 I-4 engines. Highway cruising on cruise control is aggravating if the road is not flat. I'm constantly having to turn cruise control on and off for hill climbs or simply leave it off and manually drive thus affecting my relaxation and mpgs. I did also look at the Camaro, but with the restricted view and useless sized trunk, that's a big nope! I realize for my driving habits some may say get an Avalon, Optima, Impala, LaCrosse, etc. While I'm sure they would do the deed acceptably, a sports/muscle car fits my personality better.

    What's the difference between this and the Daytona version?

    • @ALLCYLINDERSTV
      @ALLCYLINDERSTV  Před 7 lety +2

      I'm not entirely familiar with all of the difference. I know there are aesthetic differences (hood, rear bumper, etc.) as well as stripes and different seats, though. It looks to have the same engine, so I'm not sure if there are any performance enhancements.

    • @ALLCYLINDERSTV

      Wouldn't be much of a race. The Mustang has more HP stock, plus mine is also tuned.

    • @ALLCYLINDERSTV

      You do realize that R/T stands for "Road and Track"....

    • @ALLCYLINDERSTV
      @ALLCYLINDERSTV  Před 7 lety

      Here's the thing. The Dodge Charger R/T is a performance sedan. So, yes, some people do buy it as a family sedan. But, others buy it because they want a full size car with power that they can also use on the track. All you have to do is look up Charger R/T racing videos on CZcams and you'll see that people use it for that reason. I'll grant you that if you're looking for a "race car" there are better options. But, to say that people don't care about racing Charger R/T's is factually incorrect.

      @adamm784 Před 7 lety +1

      I have a 2014 SXT..only change I've done to mine was replace the single exhaust with an x-pipe dual exhaust. I'm not sure if that did anything at all to the HP but it definitely has a bit more kick to it and makes a nice little rumble. Nothing like the V8's but it's got a bit of a bite. I am considering a CAI but there's so much back and forth on CAI makes it hard for me to decide lol. Anyway..long story short. If you're a safe and respectable driver you won't be going anywhere fast..except accelerating quicker to the speed limit.

    nitrogen? do some homework

    • @ALLCYLINDERSTV
      @ALLCYLINDERSTV  Před 7 lety

      You're implying that there is no Nitrogen in the tires?

    • @ShogMan
      @ShogMan Před 7 lety +3

      No sir, i'm implying nitrogen filling tires is a scam and has no effect worth noting. You're breathing 75% Nitrogen right now. Google Nitrogen tire scam. It's almost as bad as E3 spark plugs and Cold-air intake kits.

    • @ALLCYLINDERSTV
      @ALLCYLINDERSTV  Před 7 lety +33

      Oh, ok well I didn't say anything about there being advantages to using Nitrogen. I simply stated that's what the tires were filled with stock. So, you're telling me to "do some homework" as if I made an incorrect statement.

    • @ShogMan

      Agreed. I've never really heard of Nitrogen in tires being a scam. But, I'll look in to it some more. Might make for an interesting video. Thanks!
