scnbjm thank you so so much! Posting this was on my list today. So glad you enjoyed the video. I hope Antone doesn’t mind me posting this... knowing him I thought he’d be cool with it :) I just want to share them with the world.
One of their classic joints Forgotten Graves blows me away every time i hear it Check out them back in 1996 at the Kibro - sounds JUST as good and Anton is young and a drugged out junkie but here he stands today!
It sounded incredible in the crowd too/live...from the heavy, heavy noise tunes to the more pronounced clean numbers like Nevertheless: that night was deep st louie history meets your international soundscape...pure magic 🌅thanks again!
Great upload- thanks !. I got to see them in Tampa in May .They also played Government Beard, Who Dreams of Cats, Pish, Hippy Bitch, Drained , Servo , Whatever Happened To Them, We Never Had A Chance and closed with the greatest closer ever - Yeah Yeah I hope your battery didn’t die and you got the whole show recorded ! Hakøn from The Third Sound on guitar was a happy surprise. . I like his band a lot. I’m already looking forward to the next BJM tour !
Wow. Just wow. I regret so much that I couldn't make the couple shows that were *kind of* close to my hometown. (I did see them last yr & loved it) Great footage!
Great movie shelley (real and raw). thanks for posting for all of us unable to get to the gigs. Loving the new stuff and the blistering outro psych jam on "when jokers attack" really flies. Gives you goosebumps!!
Just found this, great stuff, thanks Shelly! I've never had the honour of seeing BJM live, but I now have tickets to see them twice later this year, I'm quivering with excitement! This is a wonderful prelude to where I want to be...
Thank you Shelly, a wonderful recording- one of the best I have seen of them and loved the angles, you clearly love the BJM. Looking forward to the London show, this will keep me going till then. Unique- Anton will be proud of this one!
Shad Williams thank you so much for your kind words. Yes, huge fan for 20+ years. BJM is an essential part of the soundtrack to my life. I sincerely hope Anton likes this, the last thing I want is for anyone to think I made this for some sort of personal gain. Love the BJM. Much love to you & enjoy the show!
Thanks for putting this up. Saw them at First Avenue in Mpls. the night before. A great show, but, if I dare say, they seemed to be a little sharper in St. Louis.
Jürgen Schwarzbauer thanks so much for watching. This venue is absolutely amazing, probably my favorite ever, and I wanted to make a vid so bad. 25 year fan and 3rd time to see them.
Nathan Wilson wow, thanks so much! Really appreciating all the love. This vid is the pinnacle of many years of practice 😄 I love filming shows. I had a breakthrough in technique when I filmed Luna here 6 months back.
geez the band I was in used to play here in the 90's...wow...like a flashback. Just started getting into this band. a revelation...incredible. LONG LIVE BJM.
I'm a massive fan of the BJM and I have tried, even to let it grow on me but I just aint feeling the 1st song or the album too, I was at the Brighton gig on this tour or atleast the one where he swapped sides of the stage to play and again I just wasn't getting the BJM vibe, the album was being heavily promoted and i just think they missed out way to many of their top songs in my opinion, u can't like everything I guess, the last song however made up for it though, cant remember the name but they had 6 or 8 guitarists and it was like a (quote) wall of sound, one of the new demo's he's uploaded on here is called "listen" and I think its a fucking banging tune, love it, I fear its not gonna be on the next album but it should be played loud with plenty of base.
legend… and a great show as well! can't wait hearing and watching them play at KNUST / Hamburg / Germany in august 7th… www.knusthamburg.de/programm/the-brian-jonestown-massacre-2/

LOL man I just cut my hair and I goddammit. First time seeing this and do I see bangs and business. Oh well when the Devil cuts your hair you find the collective just like the hair on the floor finds a vacuum or rubbish chute or dust pan! Nice sound man the mics on these phones I swear not bad

that was pretty much the same setlist as the show they just played in Denver tonight, but they added Vad Hande
A Word blew my mind in KCMO. Everyone I was standing near said it was the best song they heard that night... and that is saying a lot.
hey wanna meet up and play??!!!. I live for this band and hopefully I get the Chance to carry the torch! ANTON FOREVER
Thank you so much!
thanks for this footage. just booked my own concert ticket for dublin. can't wait.

this is REALLY GOOD even by BJM standards!
Hell yeah
Forgotten Graves puts me into a trance. It's nuts. Magic.
Love. 🥰
Fueron, son y serán! BJM Dioses!
The red curtains give it a David Lynchish feel. That drummer has got fire. Antone sounds stoned. Dark setting.
Awesome
That version of Jokers was fucking pulsating! Super cool upload too 👍
Can't believe I missed this.
just saw them in denver at gothic theater..fantastic as allways.
hey
im still dig this
Oh yeah, great show...yeah yeah yeah

I was there! Front row!
Legendary is the word. Possessed demons they were
Matt Wilson Antone is a demon

More Ricky on film please, otherwise knockout vid.
This version of When Jokers!!!
