- Today we explain a few terms like point of aim, point of impact and zero using our whiteboard for visuals.
During the live streams each week, quite often, questions arise that are just hard to explain without some type of visual. This new whiteboard series is an attempt to answer basic questions and explain basic things in a more visual way and in a quicker time frame than traditional produced videos.

This is the first video in a weekly series that will hopefully help those new to the community with certain terminology and concepts... very basic of course. We would your feedback no matter your level of expertise and also potential future topics.
Always good to remember basics. I'd like to see more of zero for 1 distance is also zero for another distance, not many people talk about it. Also best way to adjust pistol sights maybe?
ah, good topics, thanks
Great explanation. I am excited for more videos of this type. Getting back to basics can be great if you like making things complicated 😂. Thanks
yeah, sometimes those more educated have a hard time dumbing down stuff for the new guys so that we are not talking over their head. that is one problem i have had to really try to work through while making this particular series.... keeping it simple and basic.
Clover, what are your thoughts on the two shot zero method for sighting in your rifle? I'm going to try it on my next range test.
i two shot all the time, it saves a ton on ammo. laser bore sight devices help here too. now does this mean i want to shoot a competition or even do longer ranged hunting off of just a two shot sight in? heck no but it has it's place in your bag of tricks for sure.
@@CloverTac man, I don't know how or why I never learned about this sooner! I will be doing this from here on out to get at least a general idea where to begin to fine tune my zero.
How about how to zero a scope ?
this answers that question, when point of impact equals point of aim at a specific distance then you are at a zero for that distance.
