  • In this video we take the Garrett 'Reaper' 14" DD accessory coil for a walk around a well-detected WW2 Australian Army camp to see what may be lurking on the fringes of the site. Colleen features with a nice WW2 Penny drop and various WW2 relics come to light. Thanks for watching and subscribing!

Those Queensland WWII army camps must be fascinating locations to detect Warren. Great to see the news footages of the 7th and 9th AIF Divisions march into Lae who obviously had Queensland as their training base. It would be interesting to see what lays underneath that thick regrowth!

Love your channel. My uncle Harold Betts is buried in
Lao cemetery. He was a sniper. He was in the 2/6th independent company ( Cavalry commando squadron ). Very proud.

Big coil you should be able to get yourself those UBs that are deep down. Pleased you corrected your "Cordials" statement to soft drink. Cordials are essences you mix with water soft drinks are in containers with fluffy bubbles. Those foil milk bottle lids came in much later. I was going to school when they appeared on our free milk. Waxed cardboard inserts were still in use during the war.

That 303 round will still work. Wonder where it was made. Do those spoons fave DD markings?

Great finds, love the spoon. Did you ever determine what it was you found at the 19:52 mark? 👍
