I always thought whenever I saw her b4 the games, she was always looking like she was on point, with her professional look.

In one of his videos, Kwame Brown talks about how certain players who fit a certain agenda in the NBA and in the NFL will get playing time while others who can play but will be too much "trouble" are purposely sat and given no opportunity to show their talents.
Also, Lexi Brown recently said on the Gils Arena podcast that before this year, the WNBA would not play rookies except one and that one would become ROTY by default and so the standard has been most rookies would end up cut or out of the league within 3 years and they would lose confidence from riding the bench so much.
If the men's league had thier agenda is it outside the realms of possibility that the WNBA also prefers to promote certain players as well that would toe the league line? I don't think it is.
Considering that even she was surprised that she went 4th in the draft should tell you something. If she could really hoop like that A Indiana would've kept her. B a team would've picked her up off waivers soon afterwards. She didn't make another team until this year. If she's one that doesn't spend a lot of time working on improving as a player then its easy to see why she didn't make a roster again until this year.

What are you talking about man. She wasn’t playing. If you don’t contribute to the team, you can be cut. It happens in all sports. High draft picks don’t pan out and get cut every year. You can be good in college or overseas and not make it in the WNBA. WNBA players that don’t contribute are eventually cut or their contracts run out.
Y’all want the league to be equal, then the rules don’t selectively apply. Maybe she’ll turn up elsewhere. Based on what she’s put out so far, she will be lucky to find a roster spot. Fit matters, but if she was showing real upside in practices she would have gotten an opportunity at some point. Crying about the 11th or 12th man on the bench being cut is ridiculous.

Men who love basketball are not going to watch WNBA no matter how they look. It's a different game. I tried to watch the commissioner cup game and had to turn it off. You have some good players, but not enough yet to hold high IQ basketball players to watch a lot of The W games . They need to step it up honestly, I shouldn't be seeing that many missed layups at a professional level.
