All Amtrak Budd Metroliner Cab Car Horn samples (2018 - 2020)

I included 9635 in this Horn Samples video because while it’s no longer around it did make it to 50 years so I’m gonna leave my best clip of 9635 in this video
I started this “Railfanning Goal” in 2018 & I started this goal in Connecticut now I can say I finished it in Connecticut
& I can also say I’ve seen Every Budd Metroliner (Cab Car) Amtrak Owns although 9650 I’m not gonna count cause I don’t think it made it to 50 years in service now the Metroliners (9632, 9633, 9634, 9636, 9638, 9640, 9641, 9643, 9644, 9645, 9646, 9647, 9649, & 9651 have hit 51 years old & while 9635 is no longer around I can at least say I saw all Amtrak Budd Metroliner Cab Cars that have survived over 50 years in service

You didnt see 9630, 9631, 9637, 9642, 9648, 9650, and 9652 because those were all either wrecked or retired due to mechanical issues
I did not see 9630,31,37,42,48,50,52, 9800, 9826-2828 & FRA DOTX 216 the only 2 on that list that are still around that I have not seen are 9800 & FRA 216. However those 2 along with 10005 are no longer cab cars so I don’t count those cause I wouldn’t be able to get a horn sample of them. As for 9652 it was sent for the Gas Turbine Powered bombardier Jet Train project & (to my knowledge ) is still around just not on Amtrak & not running so again I don’t count that cause I wouldn’t be able to get a sample of it. So their’s a reason as to why I put 2018-2020 cause the ones before that didn’t make it to 50 years of service. Now 9650 I think was 50 years old but 1-2 years short of 50 years in service. So that one doesn’t count to me either. I only did samples of Metroliners that made it into 50 years of service

9633 is my favorite horn and cab car
0:17 9640's horn sounds like they ripped it off a AEM-7
9640 is a good one. To bad it sounds different now cause I never got an amazing sample of it’s K5LA before it started to change. Now it Sounds a lot like 9643 & 9645 which again is too bad cause before it was extremely good & now I guess it’s still good just not the same as it was in this video

amtraks cabcars seem to have 2nd gen widefont K5LAs and narrow font K5LAs from the 90s and 2000s

They were all removed after the cab car conversion in the 80’s.
