This was a great show, Justified might be my favorite show ever. It’s close with Sons of Anarchy. I hope they do a season 2.
Omg this was too funny! Love Justified! Can't wait for Episode 4 tonight!
Coolest dude in the universe. Phenomenal show… the world is a better place today.
I watched the whole season and will watch multiple times because it’s so amazing on FX. Thank you all and I hope the strike ends soon.
I'm first comment?!? CANNOT WAIT for this reboot!!! OUTSTANDING series and Timothy was made for this role!!!
Raylans back! so stoked!
It's freakish to me how much Tim and Boyd are alike.... and look at Olivia and how much she looks like the pretty lady next to her. I can't be the only one with these thoughts.
Um Tim was in amazing shape in this series. Just abs for days. I gotta go to the gym now!
Great first two episodes such an awesome show
I've read the book City Primeval, but haven't watched the series yet. I enjoyed the book and cannot fathom how they are inserting Raylan as the lead character when Raymond Cruz is the main character.
Love the show🎉🎉🎉Pray writers get what they want and the story continues on! 🎉❤❤❤
to a second season 🤞🏽
this is a great roasting session
I ❤ him and the soooo good😊
I love the Olyphant family dynamic. Also, Tim was at least half drunk. These events are parties! Interesting that the writers were on strike and a few days later these guys were to.
If you've seen Timothy Olyphant on any interview shows (Conan, Rich Eisen, Seth Meyers, etc.), you know that's exactly how he is in real life. No alcohol necessary.
The daughter was a little embarrassed by Tim’s flirtatious shtick with her female co-star. Hahaha ;)))
I've seen the first two episodes it is a rocky start but I still want more but have to wait for the 3rd to find out more.
What are you thoughts on it, if you've since seen the whole show?
The location, Harlan county and how that community acted was what made that show for me, this one, Raylan is in Michigan, in Detroit to be exact, so u know it's got to be something to be "something" hope I'm wrong but after watching the pilot and the following episode I don't think it's going to be anything other then "alright"
Detroit, dude. He's in Detroit.
@@RWGish Exactly
It’s actually filmed in Chicago. They just pretend it’s Detroit.
I read Raylan isn’t in the Elmore Leonard book, but the creators thought he would fit nicely into the storyline.
The presence of Raylan Givens out trumps purity of book plot any time.
I loved JUSTIFIED, and being a Kentuckian I adored having Harlan as the center of the action.
But I’ll follow Raylan anywhere.
I don’t have much of an opinion in the nepo baby thing in Hollywood but I wholeheartedly fully support casting Tim’s daughter.
The nepo baby thing is stupid and ppl throwing anyone in it just jealous now they’re a few that take advantage of it the wrong way etc but not all of them he made her still try out for the roll he didn’t just hand it to her.
You may support it but the rest of us have to watch her she's horrible hard to watch she's such a bad actress You definitely don't know talent
You don't have an opinon? Sure you post about that....
The new season was a decent crime series, but I think it's a bit disappointing on the level of Justified. Tim is still great (whatever he plays), but this Raylan was a lackluster version of himself. However, I enjoyed the series because it's good that we got even this much more Justified.
Bummed at the tepid reviews of the first two episodes of Primeval. Other than a weak performance by Sandy, I thought the pacing, the ensemble cast, the setting, the story , all stellar Great new world for our old friend to inhabit picking up on some earlier forays to Detroit in the original run. Can’t wait for more.
Agreed :) First two eps did a good job on establishing what characters we are dealing with this season. It's looking pretty good so far, very much look forward to see how the story unfolds.
I was so excited waiting for this show to debut. But it only took one episode to start wondering wtf where did Justified go? I wish I hadn't watched the whole show.Sadly a waste of time. I really tried hard to like it I just could not get there.
I love justified, but I can not stand those tighty whities on Holbrook. Seriously, I'll buy the boy some pants🫣
I love Timothy Olyphant acting, but I don't like any of the people in this series! They just don't gel! Storyline leaves much to be desired. He could have made a great 'Will Trent', but I do like the actor that plays that role. He's good.
It's just bad ! everything about - seems like it was just a money grab for Timothy. His daughter ( in real life ) is just awful, not sure why'd he let her humiliate herself like that.
Now make a version of Yellowstone with Tim and I might give that a shot.
Just keep his kid as far away from the set as possible.
Didn't know she was his real life daughter, but it makes sense now how bad that casting choice was. Not a fit, I guess nepotism is a beast.
I agree she needs to stay in school
I can't tell you how disappointed I've been in this series reboot. Although, it does put me to sleep at night.
Riddle me this, Hollywood:
Why is it that make leading actors STILL have to be attractive enough to make everyone comfortable looking at them through the course of a movie or a series (I mean, no homo, but Timothy Olyphant could dye his hair right now and play a much younger character, if he wanted to), while it is OK now for their love interests to be 100 pounds overweight and look like my Grandmother?
Or, were we just all intended to pretend like we did not notice this?
Do the feminists really scare you people THIS much?
I'd say it's usually the other way around
A disappointment like, a B film.
Loved Justified but this wasn't as good and the relationship with the lawyer was not believable and out of character for Raylan.
This is definitely NOT Justified. I finished watching both episodes and left feeling very disappointed ☹️ I will continue to watch it only to see Raylon and bits of Chicagos South side. The acting isn’t that great except for Raylon. The storyline is stupid and to many characters and their stories.
his daughter sure didn't get any of his acting ability she needs to save her money from this series I don't think she'll get another acting job she's hard to watch it's so bad
The script is not as good as most all episodes during the 6 seasons of Justified.
There are a few moments when the dialogue is really good.
I like the transition to the older Raylan in PC but I have to say PC Episode 7 was not written well. It was disjointed, and seemed hurried.
Raylan hasn't shot anyone yet and maybe that's the reason some don't like PC. I believe it had its moment though not enough of them.
I give it 3.75 stars.
I support the writers strike, but man the writers, directors and casting agent on the reboot should all be fired. This can't be the same bts team as the original, it was such a masterpiece. 5 episodes in to Primeval and I am still disappointed.
I SO WANTED to love this but it just sucks. Detroit and the main bad guy is white? WOW, so subverted my expectations!
Rayland getting it on with a fat chick. Light on violence, weak characters and slow plot. it is all so safe and politically correct. "It's a damn shame..."
Love Tim but this is NOT Justified. Bad script. Terrible Directing. Terrible Editing. Terrible Casting other than Raylan. Its almost unwatchable.
Kind of agree. I l Loooved Justified. This fell way short.
🤡
I'd already planned ahead of time not to watch it but at the moment I'm almost through the fifth season of the original justified cause I decided to watch it again for the fifth time since it aired.......no point in ruining a good thing.🤠👍
I wouldn’t say terrible, but you’re right. It has nothing to do with the Justified we know. The original just set the bar waaaay too high
Gotta strongly disagree. It’s not the original but it’s not terrible. It’s a brilliant story in the raglan Givens continuation ten years after the original. It’s a great show you guys just probably don’t like the fact that the other actors/characters besides Timothy/Raylan aren’t in it.
