I saw her on Broadway 5 years ago in "Hello Dolly". Check Bette out in "Gypsy" playing Mama Rose singing "Rose's Turn" and "Everything's coming up Roses" on YT to hear some of her best work in a musical.

Just a classic Halloween film. 🎃 Grew up watching it, ever since it came out. Dani was my spirit animal as a kid. We also had Nightmare Before Christmas in 93'. And both of the first Addam's Family films came out in the early 90s as well. Heck, Beetlejuice was in 1988 and Edward Scissorhands was in 1990. The 1990s were Halloween friendly, even with the end of the Satanic Panic. Also, Salem,Massachusetts is like Halloweentown on it's own, and Massachusetts has some seriously dark and spooky and wild history.
This is one of my fav classic Halloween movies ; I remember seeing it when I was a kid in the theaters. Bette Midler, who has been in quite a few movies, said this was her favorite movie she's been in and has dressed as Winnie several times for Halloween and also on her tours. Almost every year around Halloween the internet would get flooded with rumors that a Hocus Pocus 2 was going to be made; but always turned out to be fakes. Bette has always said she's on board to make another one but there never seemed to be much interest on Disney's side despite the cult following. Finally in 2022 we did get an official sequel 29 years later on Disney+. While not as good as the original; it was still an enjoyable movie.
I just discovered this channel on my recommended page and I'm not disappointed. I just watched the Interview with a Vampire before this one, another of my favorite 90s films. He's well-spoken, witty, funny and has intelligent and poignant insight; pretty much all you could ever want in a good CZcams reactor. I hope this channel grows because this creator deserves it! Keep up the good work, my guy! Try not to be discouraged by the haters and don't compare yourself to anyone but yourself. You're awesome, people will catch on, and your subscribers/views will multiply before you know it 👍💯👑

Thanx so much for the well wishes. I'll def will be lifting ur algos, because Im stuck in bed 24/7. I was a nature hippie my whole life then got ill, now Im a bored hippie lookin for fun on youtube while trying to learn tech and social media. I know it sounds weird I dont know computers and social media. I was more like a nomad or gypsy. Always on the go, always in nature, volunteering at Indian reservations, taking care of homeless, protesting and advocating. Its hard to have always been on the go to come to complete stop, stuck indoors everyday all day. Whoa sorry for the rant, lol. Dont sleep much so u reactors keep me going, give me some good laughs, fun watching first time watches from back in my day, that everyone should experience. Thanx again I'll def be watching and catching up on ur older vids. Don’t worry too much about mom costume, she’s actually dressed as Madonna. She did the whole cone bra thing in the 90’s. And when dancing at the house, she was picking up her skirt so to not step on it while dancing. The bus driver…….. well he’s just a horn dog. Lol And Winnie, the red headed sister is Bette Middler, she started as a singer then went into acting. You’ve probably heard her music. A beautiful song by her is Wind Beneath My Wings.

See it's funny because in the beginning everyone said no one knew what became of him the teacher said. But how did the legend get started of him being turn into a cat and the legends being quite true. So, if no one knew what happened him, how did this travel 300 years later. Someone had to have known to carry on the story.
This is still the better version the second wasn't, has good. It didn't hold up to this first movie. But it's not bad either. But let's get into this reaction.
