Wow thanks for the positive comments folks. That's Lance Galgon as Clyde (billed as Lance Smith), Ashley Nelson as Bonnie, Elza Hofield as Blanche, me (Garrett Chandler) as Buck, and Eric T Anderson as Ted.
A local High School just did this Musical and I went on Friday night. Completely blown away by the caliber of talent the students have. Probably one of my favorite musicals now!!
I've never seen this musical before. Stumbled along the soundtrack and now this is my absolute favorite musical. Performed amazingly and truly gave me two hours worth of entertainment. Really put a smile on my face.
The height difference between Buck/Blanche is cracking me up. But y'all have such great chemistry! I'm currently in rehearsals to play Blanche myself :)
I played the store clerk (we did it as male store clerk) at mine and am still in love with the musical. Every night as we prepared for bows some of us would come out and sit backstage and watch the death scene of Buck. For ours we also did a burial part during the God's Arm's reprise, it almost made us cast members tear up so can only imagine what audience thought. Very well done to all in this rendition of it
I know the kids that were in Bonnie and Clyde on Broadway. This show comes in second 🥈 right after the one that was on Broadway. The whole cast made me feel like I was part of the show. They are truly amazing. Thank you
Okay, so, I want to preface this by saying that everyone did GREAT( LOVED the Bonnie, especially ), but Ted’s just started YCDBTH while I’m watching and I wasn’t expecting his voice at all and I love it.
If you are able, check out the "Too many Tenors" concert posted just yesterday on Facebook at: facebook.com/ConcertsByDavid Four of the male actors from this production are in that, including Ted, Clyde and Buck, and the preacher. Each sing two numbers in this concert, and the other 6 tenors are great as well! Lots of good talent in the community theatre world....
That's how the play opened- with the gunfire and Bonnie and Clyde lying dead in their car. The ending sorta loops back to the beginning as they're wearing the same outfits, are in the same positions and the same songs playing- so from there the audience can infer that shortly afterwards they meet the fate foreshadowed in the beginning.
Wow, I really enjoyed that! If I'd been lucky enough to see it in person, I know this would have been a great night out at the theatre. Many thanks to everyone involved in the production.
Laika Constantino Clyde- Lance Smith, Bonnie- Ashley Arlene Nelson, Blanche - Elizabeth Suzanne, Buck - Garrett Chandler, Ted - Eric T Anderson, Preacher - Daniel Berlin, Mrs. Parker - Stephanie Thomas I can try to dig up program for the full cast list of the other ensemble parts. Clyde does professional theatre under the name Lance Galgon. I use Garrett Chandler as a stage name (my middle name) Elizabeth Suzanne also goes by Elza.
I'm watching a bunch of Bonnie and Clyde videos because I'm nervous about playing young Bonnie, and I stumbled upon this. I'm not disappointed at all.
Hope your production went well! It's a great show!
OMG I just played young Bonnie!! I had soooo much fun
Not me tryna be Buck if I ever play in one of these-💀

your performance was great
Clyde: **breathes**
Bonnie: sToP iNtErRuPtInG mE cLyDe!
Which is ironic because she wasn't like that to him😂
The chemistry between Bonnie and Clyde is electric. As it should be. This is a wonderful production

i usually don't like ted, but this ted was awkward and i honestly found it adorable? what a great production.
From one Clyde to another - fantastic job, man!
Are there clips of your interpretation?

Easily the best adaptation I've seen of this
This is SUCH a great cast! Only thing that hurt this video is the poor audio, otherwise, splendid job! 👏🏻

I'm auditioning for Bonnie (a dream role of mine🤩) in a few weeks;wish me luck, brothers💓
How’d it go ?
@@user-lm9gh1wx4c Thanks for asking chic, I didn't get cast unfortunately! But there will be other opportunities
I thought the play would end with violence blood curdling screams since the two perished in a hail of bullets from an ambush at a car stop.

Yeah, the show comes full circle. It seems like a happy ending, but the show ends just before the bullets fly.
Absolutely and positively wonderful. I wouldn’t change a thing. I really wish my high school could do this if only the show wasn’t so tragic.
I live in east Texas and there was rumor that Bonnie and Clyde stayed in my town heading to Louisiana
