Beyond Ambient Light
A One-on-One Online Photography Workshop
The aim of this 1-HOUR long workshop is to develop your vision and style with the use of off camera flash.
I will discuss with you habits you should be developing before you actually click that shutter as well as the basics of off-camera flash photography, light manipulation and posing. Then finally, we will implement these learnings through what I call ‘DeConstruction’. I guarantee you it will be a fun way to learn and will be a critical step to improving your photography.

Glad you enjoyed it

🙏🙏😁😁
Thanks for another great video
You’re welcome
Thank you Jigigie, yesterday i was struggling to Make a sunset picture with flash, and whatching your settings i could see some of the mistakes I did (we started too late and there where not enough natural light to work with). You where working around a 14EV value and we started at almost 10. (Noted) 👏👏👏👏👏👏
Yes the lack of natural light really is underestimated when it comes to creating beautiful outdoor photos
Nice one! Can you balance the ambient light and flash by changing the shutter speed? Thanks and well done!
❤️❤️
🙏

You’re welcome

You’re welcome
Hello thank you for your post
You’re welcome
Jigigie once you have established the ambient light with the shutter on camera and after you turn on the flash . What source do I use to control the light I want ?!? The transmitter or the the light or in my case the ad300 pro
Which color of maggel you use for this photo, for colour balance of background and object both ....
What metering mode do you use?
Hi Jiggie. Really like ur explanation. Say, was the flash in TTl or manual and if manual what power ?
Manual
Hello , thank you so much for valuable tips. So far I have understand while mixing flash with Ambient in such scenario the flash exposure is controlled by f stop & ambient light is controlled by shutter speed. Does this work in every scenario?
Among other things, there are more controls to flash photogrpahy than just that
"underexposed but balanced"
Maybe one of these days
Thank you so much for another lovely vídeo! If I may ask, some time ago in a vídeo you said that you don't shoot In Manual mode, usually, you do it in Aperture Mode... When you use flash, do you ever shoot in Aperture Mode instead of Manual?? Thank you!
Most of the time even with flash I am on aperture priority unless I am shooting in the studio
@@JiggieAlejandrino thank you so much for answering!
Marvelous job Sir! What was the flash power please?
Honeslty don’t remember
Very nice blending of ambient and flash to create this 'surreal' image. One question - when setting up your flash did you set it to full zoom to get the most light through your Magmod grid?
The opposite actually, my flash is always set as wide
@@JiggieAlejandrino Very interesting. Thanks so much for the reply!
Great, just for me to understand,Why not use ND filter?
Well for starters I didn’t have one on me at that time, secondly why will I shoot wide open with a wide shot? :)
@@JiggieAlejandrino i knew i missin something😁.you right! Thanks alot😉👍
Have you've used the ND filters that attached to your sensor?
Nope
Jiggie do you ever use a polarizing filter to bring out the colors in the sky??
Nope
Wow thanks Sir Jiggie! Question po with this particular layout you can recommend to use a softbox as modifier also?
Yes you can :)
What ND Filters are you using Jiggie? (General question not related to this particular video)
Hoya and H&Y
@@JiggieAlejandrino thank you Sir.
How long did you take to get the picture?
5 minutes more or less
