Just something about me…
Since prior to my entry into the wedding industry, I have been considered to be one of the most reputable lighting specialists in the Philippines, conducting workshops nationwide and have been featured in various photography magazines. I was also a multi-awarded portrait and advertising photographer.
My expertise is in manipulating ambient and artificial light to create clean and classic photographs which naturally led me to the genre of portrait and wedding photography. Since then, I have shot numerous weddings locally and overseas exhibiting my signature style.
I am also a Sony Philippines Brand Ambassador,
Zeiss Camera Lens South East Asia Local Ambassador and International Phottix Pro Teamer.
Thank you so much Jiggie. God Bless You
Some great examples. I like your last photo where you left the shadows and sunlight on the dress instead of blowing it out with a flash. 🍻
the thoughtfulness in the composition of those pics are breathtaking !
Thanks

Great Videos! You are one of the few photographers that provide tips that are useful in professional Shootings. About 90% of the other CZcams Photographers don’t Know-how to use artificial light or they need perfect conditions to produce good results. These CZcamsrs would never be able to work on a client brief. Keep up the good content!
I appreciate that!

@@JiggieAlejandrino Usually, people use flash to fill in the shadows. Here, you have used the flash as a means to underexpose the ambient light. Requires a lot of skill and gives me an idea to experiment too.
Excellent! Thank you.

Glad you like it :)
Sir add me in your group. I wanted to be your student please sir
Because of your videos and tutorials sir I've changed my mind on buying a DSLR body that is capable of High-speed Sync. Now I am using APERTURE PRIORITY most of the time and compensate(underexposing) the background by using exposure compensation. I also use flash and it's never been easier until I watched your videos.
Great to hear that :)
great work, its very inspiring. Please can you do a video on your post production specially for off camera flash type of pictures.
I use one flash setups that make amazing photos on my channel. Especially exposing for the ambient light. Nice video!

Appreciate the SOLID knowledge & suggestions plus your photography eyes which can see the beauty behind, thumbs up! btw, just start knowing your channel last month. bless from hong kong :)
i wonder at 8:10, the night photo, is there any reason behind using ISO: 5000 and EV: -2.3?
I had my EV that way to control the light coming from the candles
You are very talented thank you
Thank you :)

all you have to do is go through the rest of the videos in the channel
Great video and content. Please show your postproduction process of those images as well.

@@JiggieAlejandrino Thank you.
So you put the gel to your flash if you want match the color with the ambient light? For example in the sunrise you put the orange gel?
Hi sir, notice me I'm your new subscriber lol. I'm a beginner in photography industry and your channel helps me a lot of ideas. Thanks
Enjoy the craft! Welcome to the world of photography :)
Tnx sir
You’re most welcome
When you under expose background, how do you meter flash to properly expose subject?
❤️
Thank you sir... Sony A7R3 settings video sir?
Check out my video 10 essential settings for my Sony
A very informative video.
What’s the K and WB u use while using CTO or CTB?
It really depends on the effect you want, I normally start at 5600 then adjust from there
Salamat
Welcome
Lovin your videos, thank you for sharing.
Question, I have the hardest time with choosing what Focus area to use when. What focus area do you use most and why/when would you change it.
Single point, because its easier for me to control because of the joystick and touch screen but since my camera has amazing EYE AF, my back focus is set to that and overrides everything
I use single point focus for my up close portraits when i need to capture detail. If im shooting a wedding photo of say a group of people i would change to auto focus with multiple points along with the f stop since there are more people to focus on.
TMIDD TRAVEL autofocus with multiple points? Is your focus area set to Wide?
I do use single point and is my preferred when I’m shooting one or two persons especially with eye autofocus.
Great video sir.. Also i would like to know about proper use of Color Gels...
Maybe one day I’ll make one, creative gels, but check out some of my other videos where I use a gel while I am shooting
@@JiggieAlejandrino Thank you sir..
Hi jiggie, i want to know why when you shoot couple on the cano using aperture 1.4? I think u using f14, but when i rewind u said 1.4.
Why you choose that aperture. Thank
Most likely it’s 14 :)
Jiggie, what's your white balance when you shoot with flash to match the ambient light of a golden hour?
Always on the warmer side to make the sunset glow even more :)
Dear Jiggie, your lighting and selection of camera ang;les is impressive. What is your thought process when it comes to camera angle and lighting? I look forward to your reply.
I think I discussed that in a previous video :)
Sorry,, what brand do you use for trigger mobil commander for your strobes ... ??
Phottix
Thanks for sharing 🙏🙏 May I know what is your White Balance setting for OCF?
It depends on the mood I want to create
@@JiggieAlejandrino Thank you
👍
🙏
Jiggie did you use any ND filter.
Thank you for the class.
No I didn’t :)
kaya ba yan sir kung speedlite external flash gamit?
depends on the strength of your ambient light
May I suggest that your channel to be more step by step on tutorial for the photo taken, as I find that its more of a promotional channel to clients of the photo you took. Thanks !
Kaya po kaya ma achieve ng godox ad200pro ganito kahit isa lang po?
I don't see why not :) except maybe for a lack of power but that will only happen at probably midday to 3PM
May I know why the F number is on the higher side
I went through this tutorial again. I observed that the shutter speed at the particular shot of the couple next to the waterbody is mentioned as 1/125/6 secs. This is where I am a little confused. 1/125 is understood, but what's again 1/125/6 secs? Is it a composite shot of 6 images stacked together?
It’s a typo
@@JiggieAlejandrino ok. Thank you so much.
Sir iam your subscriber... Iam wedding photographer... Sir what light source i should get for run and gun shoot.... Iam alone without any assistance.
You can start with a good off camera flash that’s small and powerful
