Hi guys! Sir Michael V, along with other CZcams subscribers, asked if I could cover this song in a classical-crossover approach and so that's basically the style I did for this cover. :-)
P.S. The part I enjoyed the most was recording the alto parts. Haha!

The concept of the video starts with an old film style then transitions to modern. I included this style because The Greatest Showman is originally about P.T. Barnum who was known in the late 19th century. - Hudba

I like the original, but this is honestly how it should have been in the movie. The arrangement and classical style would have been a much better fit for the character. Hands down the best cover of this song on CZcams by a long shot. You've got a beautiful voice!

This is the most beautiful version of 'Never Enough' that I have ever heard...
if the song was done in an opera way with such a classic approach as if in the time in the movie.. this is the closest thing to it.. this is such a delight in the ears.. so soothing and relaxing.. yet the emotions are there..

I have nothing against the original, but Gerphil's version (including voice and style) should have been the kind of performance of Jenny Lind in the 'The Greatest Showman'. It's hard to agree in the motion picture that the character of Jenny Lind who was claimed to be the nightingale of her time (19th century) sang in somewhat pop ballad style - Gerphil's version is by far the most accurate for the characterization of Jenny Lind.
Loren Allred's version was indeed stunning and magical tho, which technically became the benchmark for all Never Enough covers. Thumbs up for these two talented singers.

I believe that the timbre of your voice has the potential to make your covers exceptionally captivating. Recording in a straightforward manner, without excessive effects, but with a lot of heart, can truly resonate with listeners. Familiar tunes tend to attract attention, and by adding your unique touch, you can make these songs truly your own. If possible, I would love to hear you try this approach with one of your covers.

Every now and again space and time stops to review its splendor. Space and time stopped an 1 1/2 hours ago when I came across the beautiful Girphil and her wonderful, wonderful angelic voice. Throughout history there has been many wonderful singers with amazing voices, however, not since Karen Carpenter have I heard a voice as pure and clear. It didn't matter which video of Girphil I watched each word she sung was sent shivers through my body while turning me into an emotional wreck.
All the stars in the night sky have aligned with Girphil, she is an amazing talent, one very special lady - there are not enough superlatives to describe her. I can only hope that she is given the best advice and support that will send her career into the stratosphere - where she belongs.

I'm not better than the producer and director of The Greatest Showman, but I think this is how Jenny Lind should've been. Considering time setting of the movie, a pop singer wouldn’t be that famous as compared to opera singers. Amazing!

It's worthwhile to note that The Greatest Showman was never really intended to be historically accurate, both in its characterizations and the depictions of the events that came to pass. It is a work of derived fiction aimed at delivering to a consumer-aimed market and remains so to this day, however trivial these formulaic storyline troupes may be.
