  • A very memorable scene for me on all accounts. A rare moment of affection shared between Carol and her father as she finally breaks down over Billy's death. Very poignant. Thanks to BoB for the footage.

John Bardon was such a trooper. He went through those two horrific strokes, and he still did what many thought he would never do and got back to work. It was heartbreaking to see him like this, R.I.P. John.

Jim truly meant it when he got hold of Carol's hand and they both cried over Billy. As its Jim's guilt of the way he treated Billy and Alan. That's the reason he was best friends with Patrick

John Bardon was still a powerful actor even after having a massive stroke. And Lindsay Coulsdon was amazing here. This scene made me cry and eastenders doesn't make me cry often. :'(

This isn't far off real life. Lindsey Coulson did look like she was crying over John Bardon because of his ill health due to his stroke. It robbed him of most of his speech and mobility.

That's probably what the motivation was to pull off the scene

John was still an amazing actor even after suffering two strokes and now he's gone😔 Lindsay Couldson acting was also phenomenal
