highly recommend to lubricate bearings & any moving parts with Prolong
Wonderful job, it is straight to the point of how to, thank you.
You are welcome
I greatly appreciate this video, I will be checking mine out shortly as hard water season is ending soon!
Fantastic instruction!
Awesome video. Great job.
Excellent info!
I’m new to the snowdog team.
Welcome aboard!
Great instructions !!!! LIKE
Nice video Justin I picked my Snow Dog up last week putting some accessories on now we r getting some cold weather now be hopefully fishing this weekend.
Awesome! Can't wait for more ice
Great video, thanks!
That’s good stuff and good to know about the bearings. I’m going to pick up the 13hp version.
Hopefully you don't have the same issue but my guess they are all the same
Good show!
how could you tell the bearings were bad? was it making a lot of noise?
I had one boogie that I couldn't spin by hand and a few others the grease was coming out which means the seals were bad.
I appreciate the video. Frustrating that 'DIY' or 'how to' videos not available for selfers.
You're welcome! It's kind of a new product glad I could help.
Wrong type of snap ring pliers. They make a flat ( duck bill) set of pliers for the plain rings ...the ones you used were for the flat rings with holes.
Good to know ty
Can’t you just regrease them?
I've heard you can, one was pretty frozen so regreasing would have made it last a little longer before the seals went
Replacing the bearings after just one year? Jesus….
Not ideal I know
Great video. Thank you for this. How many miles do you figure you had on it before needing to do this? Was considering a snow dog but I can’t see myself doing this every year or two.
I'm going to guess over 60, I think with the better bearings I installed a lot longer before the next time
