1. Autonomy: Self-Governing. Having Clear Goals. Everything except your goals is secondary. The harder you are to get, the more valuable you are. A women never wants to be your goal. She wants to join you on your journey to your goal.
2. Personal Boundaries: Most nice guys don't really have standards, the ones that do, let others get away with breaking them all the time. If you don't stand up for your self, no one will. Not tolerating bad behavior.
3. Having High Standards: You can identify how much someone values himself, by what he is wearing. What kind of expectations does he have from himself, his job, his life. You gotta have high goals and be willing to chase them down. If you are always complaining about your job and never changing, that means that you are willing to settle for it. No woman wants to be with a guy who would settle.
4. Strong Opinions: Confidence is a mixture of a variety of things. Having strong opinions showcases that you are well read, Know what you are talking about and are going to stand up for what you believe in. It could be about anything from the kind of music you like, to criticizing a movie or relationship advice. Learn to express how you feel about something.
5. Fun: Flirting and Teasing is Fun, But you gotta have a slight ting of uncertainty to the monotonous life. Conforming to expectations of a woman is why nice guys miss out and end up in the friend zone. This is why Jerks get all the women, Uncertainty, Not afraid of screwing up, the abundance mentality. If she knows whats gonna happen before it happens, then it isn't fun. Uncertainty and unpredictability are key. Not knowing the outcome makes people interested.

Honestly, my 4 younger sisters were my moral guardrails when I was a teenager through my 20s into my early 40s with regards to treating women with respect. However, turning 50, I've come into some realizations as one begins to recognize their mortality. Now, I value myself with higher regard and thus don't hold women on a high pedestal or treat them like a precious commodity, but rather as an abundant supply with which I don't have to give so much time or investment to one woman. If something doesn't work out, I go to the next one. 😊💓

I'd have to agree with that DOC. I'm 52 now, and my outlook on dating have changed dramatically...I used to pursue with the mindset of women being these respect worthy, dainty, precious, almost more important than myself..
Now, with most of the field quite a bit younger than myself, I work with pretty much the same paradigm...I'm not out to impress, but I do engage in conversation, and I really don't give a shit about being nice, present an inflated image of myself, or present all of these traits that RIO is talking about.I simply display confidence while being polite, and ask more questions than women do.. If it doesn't feel right, I move on, because there ARE a LOT of women out there, and even a blind squirrel busts a nut.
A guy who's comfortable with himself,( like my husband Gary is) , is quite attractive..... He's bald for example, he could care less, no silly embarrassing comb overs, this makes him so attractive. He's who he is.

I've never had that problem personally with a man. Anyone can be indecisive in any context. Now, I may ask someone, friend or family, what is good at a particular establishment. I may take the suggestion or go with something else. I've never been one to eat off someone's plate right off the bat. Give it 3 months or years, then that's something else entirely. That would drive my parents crazy when I would that as a kid even as an adult.

When it comes to boundaries, I was taught this as a kid. I was about to walk around my dad's Friend's dog that was laying on the floor, he stopped me and said step over him. This dog was a 60kg rottweiler, he then said if you walk around him he will know you are his lower status. By stepping over him you are showing your value. It works with women too.

I thought I was the only guy debating with my immediate peers that I needed to change my job situation (cleaning tables/bartending) and that "experience is much more important than money itself." Not only did I debate this to my close peers, but I've also bravely went beyond to prove myself that I can thrive as a Technician, DJ/Emcee, with occasional Brand Ambassador work! Also, I handled a recent friendship breakup with stride (it was an ex's girlfriend). So I decided, if I go out more regularly and approach new women, I'll find much more genuine connections. I really had the right idea as a kid, to keep a smile on my face, if someone dislikes me Lol. I have a friend, he is from Kenya, he isn't exactly a great looking guy, but he isn't afraid to go talk to any woman, and he gets lots of numbers. I've seen guys in the clubs come up to him and say they've been watching him and say he's the man. But, I always ask did he call or message any of the girls, and he almost never does. I told him he just likes the hunt, and if he gets the phone number he's satisfied. He thought about it, and he agreed.
