McIntosh Hall Tour - University of St Andrews

Follow starTV on a tour around McIntosh, St Andrews' most central hall, with a current resident. The hall is formed from a block of terraced houses built in the mid 1800s. The hall is fully catered, with shared kitchens and bathrooms.
We visit one of the two TV rooms, both of which also contain a piano (1:03), say hello to Mildred (1:43), then check the dining room (2:02), common room (2:29), and kitchen (3:29), before venturing down to the laundry room (4:24). We then look around a standard bedroom (4:48), including what is probably the best view from any student accommodation ever (5:18). Lastly, we look at the study rooms (5:34 and 6:48).
• 109 standard rooms with single-size beds
• 64 shared rooms each containing two double-size beds
• 1 mystery en suite shared room
• Walk to... Tesco: 3 minutes. North Haugh: 7 minutes. A beach: 3 minutes.
• All residents are catered
• Three meals per day, excluding dinner on weekends

• Rent for 2020/21 is £6,364 (shared) and £7,009 (single)
• Rent does not include the winter break
