Hi Sean, great video! I'd like to apply to study masters at St Andrews but haven't submitted an application yet. I'm aware it's competitive to get an offer from there so I'm hesitant to pay the fee. What grade did you and your classmates get for your bachelors? If you don't mind me asking 😅
It is completely free to apply to study masters at St A. There is no application fee as such. Do apply with a good SOP so that you have better chances of getting an offer to study.
Hey, sorry for the late response! I do not have anything bad to say about the University. I am post graduate student, so there is a quite a lot of diversity in my classes in terms of background. You definitely notice the difference more when in town and at social events. Everyone here is friendly and welcoming, but again, you will be surrounded by white people. Being one of few black males here has not affected my learning or my experience, but it is something I think about everyday. Sadly this is just natural, but I wouldn't let it defer you from attending this top uni!
Hi, I am in MSC Applied Statistics, so I am not familiar with professors in the comp sci department, but I think the work is manageable. In my program assignments are spread out, but if you don’t manage time well, you can potentially have a stock of assignments for different classes due at the same time. It will come down to how well you manage time!

Are there many African American students at St Andrews? I read that there a lot of American students but I imagine most to be White or Asian.

As far as I know it is unisex. There may be gender specific floors in certain halls, but I cannot confirm.
