It's here, my first video of 2024! I had planned this to just be a compilation of new year's resolutions for the channel this year, but then all that Old World news came out and I couldn't resist commenting. I love your enthusiasm! Lately, pretty much every video about the old world has just been people complaining about the prices and forecasting its swift demise.
I forecast it's meteoric rise instead! Gamers have been crying out for this for years, and the re-release of the older models is very, very welcome to those of us who regularly play older editions anyway
Id love to see more paint a lore videos! Also maybe some army showcase videos of the armies you have?
More battle reports is always good! Battlefleet Gothic and both new and classic scenarios from White Dwarf sounds great! 👌

I liked the video you did about making the river, so more scenery videos would be good - I could see quite a lot of people wanting advice on making scenery for The Old World.
I don't get on well with Battle Report videos - maybe they're just not for me. I like stories though. If you have any stories about your armies, why you built them as you did, what you imagine their background is, famous deeds they have performed, that might be more my thing. Perhaps if a battle report was retold in more of a story-based way, rather than a "I rolled a 3 and a 6" sort of way, I would find them more interesting. Though, to be fair, I haven't tried watching any of yours, only other ones on youtube - perhaps yours are already much more fun!
If I had a shilling for every time this week that I heard someone proclaim that their room had been taken over by mead... I'd have two shillings. Which is not a lot, but might be enough to procure a couple of drops of heavenly tipple! (I'd be most interested in a link to more info on said product.)
And... huzzah for campaign books!

Now I'm older than you so we'll have to agree to disagree as to what the golden age of White Dwarf might be. I think (I may be wrong) that the very first Warhammer battle scenario to appear in the magazine was 'Blood on the Snow' in WD91. It would have been 2nd Edition though I would have played it with 3rd Ed rules as that was what we had - can't remember if that was because I'd bought an old White Dwarf from my local model shop (he had a pile going way back, wish I'd bought more) or if enough time had passed between me getting the magazine when it came out and us getting round to playing the game with 3rd Ed having appeared and a friend getting the rulebook.
Basically if you feel like being an orc warboss with captive dwarfs tied up that you can roll down a snow covered hill to turn them into devastating snowballs of destruction then it's the scenario for you. And I think you do want that. Think it was a 2/3/4 hander with orcs, goblins, humans and dwarfs. You were obviously supposed to have a GM, but what the hell and I'm sure it could be played with any ruleset.
A classic WD from the same era and in my view possibly the best would be WD97 - another WFB scenario which is also fun, the first 'Index Astartes' which is Ultramarines of course, but hey ho, Call of Cthulu, Stormbringer (games I never played but was fascinated by the articles), WFRP, some great models advertised and amazing paint jobs. If I was reviewing a WD it would be that one.
If I had had to guess what your wife did for a living I would have needed an awful lot of guesses. However, if I was told that someone I watch on CZcams has a wife who makes mead then I think I would probably have got it in one!
