With this out i can sorta guess whats going on. Shinic(Someone in the comments came up with that.) Is either this worlds Sonic or a Parasite that took over Sonic. Being Trapped on South Island, Shinic didnt have much eat considering how small all the flickies are. Due to there small size, they were probably hard to catch. Then Eggman came along and Changed everything. Eggman puting the Flickies in the Badniks made them more easier to catch. With that, Shinic could get a proper nutrients for once. Eventually Shinic reached eggman and Ate him aswell. Eggman being a bigger meal meant more energy for Shinic. Shinic now knows that South Island doesnt have enough to keep him sustained so he needs a way off the island. Thats where Tails come in. Either Tails was another Creature Like Shinic and Was awakened by him or Shinic passed the Parasite onto him. Just a little Fanon context.
I feel like a good nickname for this Sonic would be Shinic because he's constantly evolving like Shin Godzilla and seems like a more terrifying and animalistic version of Sonic.exe while being pretty different, like how Shin Godzilla is to 1954 Godzilla.
