The Autel Evo 2 pro dynamic track mode allows the drone to track an object and will follow the object in all directions. The evo 2 dynamic tracking mode is great if you want to follow a moving object that may move in any direction.
The Evo 2 pro tripod tracking mode will allow the object to be tracked but the Evo 2 will not move from its position. Instead with the evo 2 tripod mode it will pivot on its axis to follow the object but it will not move.
The final Intelligent tracking mode found on the Autel Evo 2 and Evo 2 Pro is the parallel tracking mode. The will allow the Evo 2 to track an object and stay parallel to the object by staying the same distance away from that object while tracking. The Evo 2 Parallel Tracking mode is great if you want to follow an object from the side like on a boat or a car or other type of vehicle.

Dynamic Track is basically OpenCV2 or 3 either written in C++ or Python. Built that with a raspberry pi, python, and camera. Cool technology integration into our drones. Thanks for the video. Great job.

Autel is a chinese company. I thought it was USA too but they just have facilities here to build them and help avoid US drone bans on China.
Is there any way to track an object and then move manually around it in free flight. Like if I wanted to mask a person and NOT have it follow someone, rather free fly.
Can you walk (or more, ride an ATV) *toward* it as it flies 'backward' relative to the camera? I am looking for a drone that will 'follow' me in *FRONT* of me. Can this do that?

so the tracking is not following the phone GPS, but the silhouette of the target? and so if target ton long time hidden, it will lost?
Hobart, on using the dynamic tracking feature. Can you set a specific altitude/elevation? Thank you sir
I don't think so, but if you change the maximum height of the drone itself that might limit it during the dynamic track but I'm not sure.

does the Evo2 have a tracking mode where the camera stays on the subject but you can fly it around, like camera man on the Parrot Anafi ?

Thanks Shaun! Actually I meant to shoot this in 4K but it was shot in 1080p 30fps instead and all on auto settings with no grading or correction.
Do you how can I program the drone to follow me in a parallel mode ? or at the least where can I find the code script, thanks in advance
It's great that it works on nice flat ground but what about up and down hills? Will it change elevation along with whatever/whomever its tracking?
Bob, actually I'm not sure. I live in Florida and it's really flat here so I have no hills to check it on lol. I would imagine it would go up as you go up and down as you go down. That's a good question. Maybe somebody who's lived in some hills and has tried it can chime in.

Dave, it seems to have a mind of its own when it comes to tracking. Can't control the distance away accept in parallel. You don't really choose the distance but you go the distance you want and then start tracking. Dynamic just moves everywhere.
@@HobartsReviews I have 2 Evo 1s And the Evo 2 is having problems i fly from my house every day If you could track from 80 to 150 ft away would be nice Hope they can make it work. Have Air2 Tracking is so Cool . But the GEO Fencing is Gross thanks
