It looks like a cheaper construction than the original dream station. I can't wait one year to get another machine. The RESMED is a much better machine.

Which side of the disposable filter do you put to the inside of the reusable filter? The side with the arrows to the outside? or inside? I noticed the one side is a little deeper.
How does the gasket fit back onto the water reservoir?
Hello, what’s the purpose for the humidifier? I’m using it without it. With the first Dream station recall it’s been said that the humidifier create and additional problem with the foam.
Hi Charlie, thanks for the question. The humidifier itself is not part of the concern for the recall. Most people find using their humidifier with their CPAP to be much more comfortable. I would suggest giving it a try and seeing what you prefer 😀
Is this machine compatible to Soclean cleaner? I have one I used with the 1st dreamstation.
I was told it was with an adapter, BUT I cannot figure out how the black house would feed into the inside correctly as I though it was suppose to reach the water tank.
Mine said NOT to use an OZONE or UV cleaner. The Soclean is an OZONE type. That is the REAL reason the DS1 is recalled. The OZONE is breaking down the insulation inside the machine. This is found in the operation instructions.
I just received my Dream Station 2. Does anyone know if the backlight ring on the therapy button can be turned off? There have been a few times where I removed my mask during the night and turned off the machine but the therapy button or on/off button ring stays illuminated. I'd like to turn it off if possible.

Will I have to adjust pressure due to hose size?
Hi Jack, thanks for the question. You will not need to adjust pressure based on the hose size. This is just a slimmer and lighter tube but the amount of pressure emitted will be the same as any other tube.
