Truth is they don't use rui the way the should. Ham doesn't kno how to use players correctly. Reeves and rui should dominate 2nd units. But he's relying to heavy on AD and Bron

I really don't think a trade is necessary given guys are getting healthy. Zach Lavine adds scoring, but the Lakers aren't a scoring team, they are more defensive.
A defensive team that can't stop any top team in the league.. They lost by 44 to Philly, Lost to the Mavs twice.. with and without Kyrie, Lost to Denver, Lost to Sacremento, Lost to Miami, Lost to OKC.. They literally lose to any team that has a Superstar Player or any top Team

Lakers need another piece. They lack a consistent 3 and D player next to Lebron,AD, Reaves. Vanderbilt and Cam aren’t consistent from 3. Prince isn’t good enough defensively,Christie is too young and Hachimura doesn’t have enough lateral movement to be able to guard on the wing and dodge those off ball screens. Lakers need a player like Caruso,Jerami Grant, Dejounte Murray or a Bojan Bogdonavic.

Rui and DLo with a 1st for Dejounte Murray. The PG spot is clearly the weakness on the team. If DLO aint scoring he is worthless.

They don't need no.lillard. they need a Jrue Holiday type. Lock down elite guards and give you 15-18 consistently. If I was them I would see if Atlanta is willing to trade Dejounte Murray.
We need another back up big to be able switch out with Woods or AD. A big that can shoot and spread the floor for the whole team like Lauri Markkanen that will free up the forwards from playing to much defense a player like Lauri is a lop threat that can shoot the three and a defense initiator. It will allow AD or Christian Wood to be the anchor on defense. On offense it would allow AD to punish the paint and his favorite mid range area and with Christian wood u this have two bigs who can spread the floor because they both 3s but allowing Christian Wood or AD to be a slip in lob threat with more one on one situations where AD is usually a beast. Lauri would also help LeBron, Austin Reeves, and dlo to attack the rim

The only worry about Levine is he’s also injury prone just like AD, say they do give up Dlo, rui, and Prince for Lavine and then he gets hurt, you just lost 3 pieces and now you’re lost and stuck. This wouldn’t even be a discussion if Dlo just played consistent and just a little bit of defense lol. Dlo can literally be the X-factor if he played like he can on a consistent basis.

Half of their rotation players have been hurt and are just now coming back. Why would they trade. The core of this group got to a WCF, and they've added to that roster. Getting healthy and building chemistry should be their main goal. Darvin Ham lineups suck half the time as well. Another reason they lose games.
