- Welcome to our Berlin series, where we show you our life in this city. Meet our friends, our favourite places to hang (and walk the dog!), the best places to buy Brotchen, and pretty much anything else we find interesting. This is not a food or travel show, but rather a people show, because after all what is Berlin if not its cool people?
We want to point out we’re not speaking for everyone in Berlin, and our experience is definitely an expat view. But still, here we are, having fun and hopefully entertaining you in the process!
First in line is Tempelhofer Feld! The abandoned airport that lies at the heart of Berlin, and is a strong contender for the happiest place in the world. Bigger than Central Park, and the largest open inner-city space in the world, needless to say, it’s HUGE. Let us know what you think in the comments!

First off, AMAZING edit Karam, wow!!! Second, "totally weird, kind of ugly, but utterly and unapologetically free" is the most accurate description of Berlin I've ever heard. You know it's not one of my favourite cities but excited to see more of why you and Elena love it so much :) Can't wait!!!

Lovin the Berlin Bangs Elena. We could do with a Templefloppen hopen filden (you know what I mean) but I have a feeling that in the UK, it would be closed due to drink, drugs fights and muggings in no time - or an entry charge made by the government. This has the making of a great series; Karam seems to be getting to grips with shooting and editing too :-)). Big luv X

ok, I'd heard great things about Berlin, but somehow not about the airport park... now on my aging bucket list for when this shitstorm becomes managable
Honestly I think it's cause this is a fairly new place. It only turned into a park in 2008 and so I've actually met quite a few people who didn't know about it before visiting Berlin!
Definitely check it out if this shitstorm ever ends 😂
