Just a suggestion. You went over physical differences.. I think most people want to know about shooting differences. You should pay more attention to that on future comparisons videos.
Would have loved to see more shooting! And more about the difference of these two when it comes to shooting!
If anyone from Smith and Wesson or knows someone who works there is reading this message, please make a metal frame version of the Performance Center Shield Plus 4”. That would absolutely be my new carry.
As somebody who works at S&W, since you made this comment, we will absolutely not make a metal frame of the Performance Center Shield Plus 4”.
It was in development, but since you asked, I will personally see to it that production is canceled.
S&W Employee
And the 4 inch and 3.6 inch compact M&P 2.0’s
Now THAT is a review! Great job man. Super thorough. Thank you good sir!
I love the look of the metal version!
Me too. Hopefully other manufacturers catch on and this becomes a trend. Imagine a metal framed Glock or Sig p365xl.
I hate it. I wish it was black
this looked great in person...but I want the compact 2.0 version.
I used a C&H Precision aluminum mounting plate with stainless steel screws and blue loc-tite on my M&P 2.0 4.625 inch barrel 10mm. Holosun 508T red dot fits the mount. X/S optic height tritium night sights complete the target acquisition treatment.
I looked at both and I'm glad I went with the poly frame.
A metal shield plus would be awesome
There is one
Great review
Thank you.
I'm about to watch but I admit my mind is already set on metal 😆 🤣
I bought a plastic one and hated it,,,too old to change now.I like metal!
@@danheino7006 really?? I was thinking about getting a plastic compact one the 15 round too. But I absolutely love my metal.
@@aajr6739 hated the way it felt in my hand .....sold it for 250 less than i paid to a friend without even firing it.to me i t felt like a damn squirt gun.
I like the metal. I am however, having a hard time finding a holster that fits it. They are supposed to be interchangeable with the polymer, but they are not and it’s getting frustrating. Thanks
Same here
T-Rex Arms makes them
Fobus. I found mine at Rural King
Dara makes pretty nice holsters alien gear as well
They need to offer the metal frame with the frame safety. Then I'd be more willing to pick one up. Although the full range of caliber options would be nice too.
I agree.I have a MP2.0 40 S&W and would love it in metal and frame safety
Handsome Weapon, may add it
I hope they do the metal in 40 S&W
It’s out now
@@MrDmoney90 thank you....just bought a new Beretta 96.....
I've been hearing that the front strap has been coming loose with use; have you found any fitment issues with the polymer insert?
I haven't seen it personally yet, but I have a friend that says his is wanting to start rattling a little here and there
Wish @Smith&Wesson @Smith&WessonFirearms made Metal Versions in 40,45 & 10mm also in fde and stainless versions. A Shield Metal would be awesome also!
A metal shield 3.0 plus would be sick. A Csx 2.0 is in order too.
i wish the metal frame came in .40 s&w
I will buy one the minute it does...I love the 40 S&W
@@danheino7006 yup, the .40 s&w is my favorite and ideal cartridge caliber
@@ethanmac639 may the spirit never die...
It just was released
@@MrDmoney90 you're messing with me, but I will check regardless! 🫣😩😧☹️😟😥😢
Same. I didn't care for the grey metal. That made up my choice for black. It's my first gun, so what do I know??? Maybe the first of many.
I know this seems silly but the color of the Cerakote on the metal frame guns reminds me of cheap low grade steel. The rough looking finish and silvery color. I can't get past it, it makes me think the gun is made of very low grade steel. Even though I know it's not.
They have a black metal now but it’s Leo only… annoying when they do that but it’ll probably be available to the public soon.
Does the ambi slide release work on the new metal frame? The old polymer one's ambi slide release is too tough to actually use
It’s the same.
Would a M2.0 complete 40 S&W slide work on this 9mm metal frame?
For the metal, I don't like the color? is it possible to change the color to black?
Cerakote
Nope. Black is only for military and law enforcement, currently. You want black, you buy polymer version.
Me personally, i like metal guns the cold steel feels good against my 🅱️ENIS🙏
That's a mood 😂
Thats the most American comment Ive read all week. 🇺🇸
Wife just got the metal
Why can’t you do Instal videos?
I think you tube and facebook both need to be replaced. They have putliced their usefulness
👍👍🇺🇸
I HATE the stupid plastic optic plates. Id rather just wait two weeks to get a free metal plate.
