The previous gen m2.0 has a better trigger in my opinion. The new trigger with the blade has a lot of grit in comparison. Reset also less pronounced in my opinion. Either way, both still better than a glock.
Excellent gun , the metal version in extremely accurate , have many upgrades and quality of some other brands charge thousands of dollars extra , Wilson, Taran, zev, etc, etc, and the best warranty of SW outstanding customer services, 4 magazines , night sights , slide custom cerrations , slide ready to instal a red dot , good trigger , nice custom finish , etc, etc, for around 900/1000 dollars, definitely a winner.
Thank you for commenting. No, I personally would not conceal carry these pistols. But I do know of folks who are have similar body figures to me that do, and they typically IWB on there hip. (3 o'clock position).
The texture isn't bad. I carry and I carry a gut to. Enough gut that its pressed constantly. You feel the texture but haven't experienced any redness or soreness
Can you do a gun review of brands that are good for sustained fire. I wantto be able to practically mag dump without jams, i dont want to be waiting 2 secs per bullet when mofos out here with switches
You realize how dumb this sounds when your weight is changing with each shot, when in all actuality the difference with ammo is a few grams, not noticable. 😂😂
S&W eliminated the detent on the slide lock lever from the M&P 2.0 Metal. This should make the lever on the right side for use by left handed shooters easier to use to release the slide forward. If you still have, own, the 2.0 Metal could you comment on if that is the case? It should also make it easier to slam home a mag and drop the slide/ chamber a round, a good feature, can you confirm? Thank you.
Lol, I understand the want to keep things simple. However, it helps to be technically correct. Especially when it comes to defending our stance on any given subject
I have both of these pistols and love them both. I even have the 5” in FDE which is my favorite out of all three variants. However, if I’m honest, the polymer model feels softer with recoil than my metal one does. HR Funk’s channel did a comparison and came to the same conclusion that I had when I did a side by side comparison at the range and with my two own pistols. The 5” polymer model is the softest feeling out of all three.
@jefflayton5889 Yes... due to the aggressive lightning cuts, it actually weighs slightly less (29 ounces versus 29.3 ounces) compared to the polymer. The m&p metal weighs 30oz. Nothing major between any of them

Metal is the best feeling gun ever❤
Please, please, please, Smith & Wesson, make a M&P 10mm M2.0 5" in all metal, with an ambidextrous manual thumb safety.
Good things! 👍
Just bought a black metal 2.0 police addition with suppressor night sights and 3 mags for 650$! What a steal! Or aluminum !
That is an awesome deal. Good for you
Did you get it off the american guardian program?
I carry my Metal appendix with no issues with he grip texture
And that is great that it works for you
Great video Sir! 👍🏻🫡
Thank you my friend

There’s another reason to go with metal….you can install better grips
The guns are 4.25 in barrel in size would you conceal carry any of those two and where on your body without printing.

Well, that is just awesome, my friend
Suppressor height sites, but no threaded barrel?
It is a bit odd. But I personally prefer suppressor height over standard.

Obviously I mean to lay as Manny accurate shots as fast as I am capable, not just emptying the mag indiscriminately
I think I can put something together for you
I'm working on that video for you. Would you mind if I gave you a shout-out, since this was your question?
Next time you want extra weight, put 17 rounds in it

I found it to be lefty use friendly.
Hey at least polymer wont rust all to shit from you handling it
That is a benefit of polymer
Neither will aluminum
@@randytidmore8021 I haven't had any time with a aluminum frame pistol could you name a pistol that has one so I can check it out thanks
@@joshuahawkins2743 He just showed you one M&P metal. The lower part is made out of aluminum
Looks like your diet is "overly exceptional" too.
Just like me!
“SAPD?” WHO????
Polymer ! Why dont people just say plastic
Lol, I understand the want to keep things simple. However, it helps to be technically correct. Especially when it comes to defending our stance on any given subject
Because it’s polymer, moron.
Lmao.@@timmyboy2495
polymer is a lil different than plastic

It really doesn't weigh as much more than the polymer. It's nothing serious
Funny part the 5 in competitor is actually lighter than the standard 5 in M&P 2.0
I haven't gotten my hands on the competitor model yet

But, does it come in a caliber not used by the Nazis?
9mm is the World's most used and desired caliber
😂 Is this a serious question? Liberal 🤮
Do you mean 9mm Kurtz?
@@23chnge 🤣
So the upper is polymer?
No, the uppers (slides) are metal on both
Whaaa?
