But most significantly, I wouldn’t want milia developing around the eye area. They’re hard to get rid of. That’s why a regular moisturizer doesn’t claim to be safe around your eyes because it hasn’t been tested, and there could be ingredients that aren’t safe for that area. I didn't get that by applying spf50 more or less 4 times a day.

@@Agape122 if you’re using a sunscreen that’s spf50, that’s perfect. but if you’re using a moisturizer that has spf in it, it’s likely you’re not getting enough protection. this is because 1. you’d need to apply a big amount to reach that spf50 protection 2. you’re less likely to reapply every 2 hours like it’s recommended 3. many moisturizers with spf are deceiving in the protection they provide and 4. most of them claim to be 30spf or 20spf so that’s even less sunblock. you can use both tho, but please use an actual sunscreen, specially if your skin is so sensitive to the sun. even if the others seem to be working for you, the UV damage could come in the long run. hope this helps!

There are some eye creams that are depuffing or other eye targeting things of course.

    I also have two:
    1. Don’t wash your face under warm or hot water. Somebody told me washing your face under the shower makes all the dirt go away. I always take hot showers and washing my face under hot water made it break out very very bad
    2. Don’t use guasha on your acne. I did this too, thought it would smooth out my skin but instead I had the worst inflammation and a very painful breakout.
And just so you know, acne is nothing to be ashamed of and it doesn’t make you uglier. As soon as you find peace with yourself your skin will too

I use a special moisturiser, when I put it on it burns slightly.
    But it’s not bad.
It just cools my skin down and removes the redness.
    I love that cream
And personally, I would never use vaseline for the face.
    Only lips.

Some sunscreens can really burn if they get in your eyes, but you can use sunscreen sticks, Labmuffin did a video about it...my sister just uses a lipbalm that has spf around her eyes, I use my normal sunscreen applied carefully because I usually wear makeup

There are some sunscreens that doesn't cause eye watering or stinging, I personally use la roche posay anthelios and it doesn't cause me any irritations even when I use it around my eyes, you should just try and find which works for you. When it comes to retinol/retinoid you should use products dedicated for the eye area, most retinol face serums are not meant to go around your eyes

I generally agree with the burning/tingling one, except the exfoliate you showed in the video actually works really well for me! It does sting for about 30 seconds to a minute, but after that I can barely even feel it. With everything else I’d say burning is a no go, but that product is definitely the exception for me!

Omg no! I would definitely still use eye cream. The skin under your eyes is more thin, delicate, and sensitive so I feel like you’d need a more gentle product for that. Plus sometimes some are formulated to help eye bags and dark circles.

The point is face creams already have these properties, so why buy 2 instead of one?

    • @moon_0207
      @moon_0207 Před rokem +2

@@FC-hj9ub not necessarily. The eye creams are more specific. Why don’t people use body wash for you face? Well body wash isn’t formulated for your face because the skin on your face is different than the skin on your body and the skin around your eyes is different than the skin on the rest of your face. Not all the skin on yourself is that same so they require different needs. Ofc there are some face creams that are an exception that say you can put it around your eyes so you can, but other than that if it doesn’t say then I’m keeping those two products separate.

Side note: I use IT CC Cream. One year my family went to the beach on July 4. It’s in Washington State (not high UV index places like Florida), and even in summer the beaches are cold, windy, yet sunny and of course, sunscreen is necessary regardless no matter what. This particular day I literally forgot sunscreen and it turned into a very warm day with the sun more intense than I had ever seen. I was a little worried that I would go home with a sunburn. Welp, turns out my body got a little pink, but my face did not. All I wore all day was IT CC Cream. Slather on sunscreen in addition to 50 SPF foundation products because this is recommended, but just sayin’. IT CC Cream didn’t do me dirty.
