It's been a few years since Olivera went to a decision but I only see it happening if he can't finish Arman somewhat early or Vice Versa. I think there's a high chance of a finish within the 1st round and half of this fight but if it goes past the half way point of the 2nd round I think there is a higher chance of it going to a decision. But they both have finishes in the 3rd round as well so that is still very possible. Thanks for watching 😁
I agree that Jamahal Hill is highly skilled, very aggressive, has the speed advantage, and the power to knock out most guys even Alex but I don’t think that he will win this fight. I don’t agree that Alex is not going to be ready. On the contrary, think Alex is aware of all of these factors and will make the necessary adjustments just like we have seen him make with every new opponent. I disagree that Alex isn’t capable and won’t do massive damage on Hill. Alex Pereira by KO or TKO, preferably KO. 🔥👏
The reason I say I don't think Alex is going to be prepared for Jamal's style is because Alex has shown the same defensive tendencies in all of his fights. The only fighter that was successfully able to make him pay for those holes was Izzy and Jiri was starting to before he rushed in and got caught. I don't see Alex making any drastic defensive adjustments outside of what he normally does and that's where I see him getting caught. Alex is capable of doing damage on Jamal if he's there to be hit no question. But I don't think Jamal is going to be there enough for Alex to land those shots and put him in danger. @@GhostOvPerdition I see what you’re saying. It’s why so many people are choosing Hill. Imo Alex didn’t’t have a good weight cut on his second fight with Izzy. He was visibly weak and his chin was at a disadvantage as a result. Think his chin will be more durable during this matchup. He hasn’t really been rocked in this division and he has been punched by strong hitters like Jan and Jiri. I also think that Alex didn’t respect Izzy’s power the way that he should have. Maybe because he had never been knocked out before and was overconfident because of that. He does keep his hands low to be able to counter the way he countered Jiri and this does make me nervous against a fighter like Hill. Alex should be making these adjustments. He’s too serious and high leveled of a fighter to not make these adjustments and recognize the serious threat in Hill’s fast and frequent kicks and punches. I believe Alex will be more aggressive in this fight especially because of all the talking Hill has been doing. Alex has been known to make statement KO’s against fighters who disrespect him. Bro gaethje has some of the worst boxing defense. His chin is really suspect and so is his cardio. Why do people think he can make it 5 rnds. He has to finish or he will drown like he did against eddie and dustin. He fights more composed but as soon as he starts getting touched up its right back to the sloppy gaethje. Theres no evidence to prove otherwise
Gaethje was more sloppy and reckless in his early career and especially early UFC career but Gaethje has gotten more intelligent in his recent fights. He still has defensive holes but he's making up for that with better technical striking. I know Max is going to touch him in this fight I just think Gaethje is going land the more impactful strikes over the rounds. I don't see Max finishing Justin at all so Gaethje is just going to have to make sure he lands more impactful strikes than Max does volume.
