DDP will come forward but he comes forward in bursts usually swinging big. It's more a come forward, swing, reset. Sean constantly walks you down, he doesn't really allow you to breath and reset. DDP will let you breathe and I think that's where Izzy can have success with his counter striking and circling away. But if he accepts backing up most of the fight in a straight line then DDP will have success with his bursts of pressure. Izzy is going to have to stick and move the whole fight. I think it's very possible DDP can have success with his off and on pressure if Izzy isn't sharp and beats him by decision. I don't see Dricus finishing Izzy at all though especially on the ground. DDP has power but his striking is awkward and a bit clunky so I would shocked if Izzy got hit with a wild punch and put out but I don't see that happening either.

I critiqued them both and I thought they both lost to Stickland. DDP did well in the fight and looked way better than Izzy did. But Sean still out stuck him the majority of the fight. DDP missed the majority of his punches or hit Stricklands block even though he was pressing forward. I think what stole DDP that fight was the visuals of the heavy bleeding cut Sean had from a headbutt against the cage and his takedowns. Without those Strickland would have won for sure. Strickland did more overall damage to DDP and he only had the one cut. A single cut doesn't and shouldn't automatically lose you a fight or even a round. Again it was close and DDP did well but I thought Sean did just enough to get his hand raised.

You thought they both lost to Strickland but Izzy got absolutely destroyed and ddp got his hand raised in a close fight whether you think he lost or not he got the belt and has won every fight he’s had in the ufc and my is on him to win again

My money

This fight is a 50/50 for me right now 😂 I'm picking Izzy but I'm not confident in it. I think DDP has a very good chance of shutting Izzy down by mixing it up with takedowns. I'm only giving Izzy a chance because I'm hoping he is going to show up at his absolute best for his home crowd. If Izzy shows up anything less then his best I think he will have a tough night and Dricus will beat him.

Sean had a very small cut on his left eye before Dricus shot in on him against the cage. The cut was barely even noticable but as Dricus went in for the single leg he lifted his head up in the clinch right into Sean's left eye. When they separated Sean was leaking and the cut was 3X worse. So it absolutely was a headbutt that made the cut so bad so quick. One cut though doesn't lose you a fight no matter how bad it is and Dricus was more lumped up than Sean. Dricus also missed the majority of his punches through out the fight and hit Sean's blocks alot. Some got through but not that many. I think Dricus beats Izzy if he mixes in takedowns successfully but in pure striking I think he's awkward and off balance alot even though he has power. I don't see him knocking Izzy out but he could come out and possibly dominate Izzy if Izzy accepts getting backed up and lets Dricus pressure bully him. If Izzy is anything less than his best it's going to be a tough night for him.

Sean fans are dim. There was no "headbutt" there was barely any contact in the clinch. Honestly their cope was pathetic 6 months ago, no it's just a display of stupidity.

@@Venomroos It was was not an intentional headbutt but there was absolutely one in the clinch against the cage in the 4th. Dricus came up in the clinch from a single leg attmept and hit Sean in the eye. Sean isn't going to lie about something like that and obviously he felt it. The minute they separated out of the clinch his eye was drastically worse yet Dricus landed no punches in that clinch. It was the top of his head. Nobody is coping buddy it's just the facts. Go back and watch it.

@@GhostOvPerdition he was changing head position like in every single clinch ever. He was clearly cut with the right before the clinch ever happened and Sean also ate a huge elbow on the break. I've had enough head clashes in 20 years playing rugby to know something that soft doesn't cut you, hell you barely feel it.

He wasn't changing head positions from left to right or vice versa, he was below Sean coming up. The top of his head drove up and into Sean's eye. When they separated Dricus threw an elbow but it didn't not appear to land. Sean did have a small cut on his eye before the headbutt from a punch but the upward head clash caused that cut to open up. Dricus didnt land anything damaging until the punch that created the small cut and the clash that made it way worse. A mild headbutt may not open someone up itself but if you already have a cut there it will certainly open it up more.

Bobby is going to have to clearly win the majority of the rounds to safely win a decision. I'm trusting that he can do that but I agree. If the fight is close at all then the judges will most likely give it to Paddy to please his fans. Hopefully Bobby realizes this to and turns the heat up on Paddy. Thanks for watching 👊😁

I pretty much agree, Leon does a lot of coasting in his fights instead of really trying to put people away. It's odd because Leon has the power and the skill to do it he just kind of won't let it all go sometimes. That's exactly why I'm picking him by decision. It's weird though because he was actually aggressive in the first fight with Belal and trying to put him away. He was cracking Belal and hunting him and that is the Leon that is dangerous. If he fights Belal like that again he will finish him. But coasting Leon tends to show up a bit more unfortunately. Thanks for watching 👊😁

Not really, the both have only fought 3 times in the last 3 years and Leon has been more recently active. He fought Colby in December and Belal hasn't fought since May of last year. I don't really understand what the delays have been between them but they both have a habit of not fighting often. But Leon is a far more exiting champion in my book. Thanks for watching 👊😁

Yah as you can see from my breakdown I'm very 50/50 on it haha. It really is a tough fight and I'm not super confident in it. The only thing that is leaning me towards Garry is his confidence and his undefeated streak. He is either going to call his shot and shut MVP down like he said or he's going to get exposed in a hard way. I don't think there is going to be much of a in-between. I wouldnt have so much dislike for MVP if it wasn't for the showing off. I'm picking Garry to win but I actually don't care who wins the fight. Neither one of them interest me at all. With Garry it's his personality and with MVP it's his fighting style. As for Alex he could knock Jiri out again if Jiri makes any wreckless mistakes. Jiri is going to definitely take chances in this fight but I don't think he's going to be as reckless coming in. Jiri can out strike Alex at his pace and style and that's what I think is going to happen.

Just remember people said the same thing about Izzy and he was cruising to the win in the first fight until the controversial stoppage and then we all know what happened in the rematch 😂

You're out of your mind if you think Jiri was barely walking and I don't know what fight you were watching 😂 He was walking just fine and he didn't rush in because his leg was hurt That's just his explosive style. I said Jiri wasn't out as in he wasn't out cold and he wasnt going unconscious. He was rocked but he was still mostly there that's why he popped back up to his feet. I didn't say the stoppage was bad it was just very close to being on the line of a controversial stoppage. If Alex had not landed in full mount Goddard would have most likely let that go but it was Jiri falling back and Alex landing in that position that looked bad.

Jiris movements were VERY compromised by the calf kicks he was trying to not show it but towards the end of the second round he was stomping heavily and trying to not show it. Watch some of Kickboxers out there doing a reaction and all of them said that Jiris legs were compromised but anyways. It's not exactly who Lopez has beat its how he's beat them. Ortega is tough as hell and he's never been knocked out but he has been massively out struck before and hurt and rocked bad. Lopez has the power and skill to hurt Ortega and possibly even finish him. Either Lopez is going to shine and continue this impressive streak or Ortega weathers the storm and comes back. Either scenario is possible.

I don't have a problem with his personality or him as a person at all I just can't stand his showboating fight style. Especially when he's done so much of it fighting absolute cans in a B league organization. I'm not saying he's not a talented fighter but the amount of showing off he's done without fighting the absolute best in the world gets under my skin. So now he's going to have to prove he can hang with the absolute best of this division. I think Holland could have given him a much better fight if he really wanted it but Holland just seemed to not even care in that fight. I think there are elite strikers in the division that can shut MVP down you just have to have the right game plan. Garry may be able to pull it off but if he can't someone above him eventually will. @@GhostOvPerdition I don't mind showboating for the most part, but there is certainly a line for me - and MVP has crossed it a number of time, (though I think Izzy's antics are the worst), with the most noticeable example being the whole Pokémon thing after literally shattering Cyborg Santos' orbital bone with a knee. It was quickly apparent to everyone watching the fight and pretty much any other fighter if they had been the guys in the cage - that this wasn't a normal reaction to being kneed, you know - being rocked or ko'd. Instead Cyborg reacted is such a way that he obviously had suffered some sorta massive injury. So yeah, to still do those antics when Cyborg, a guy who's extremely tough and experienced - (imo also massively underrated imo), was literally on the ground screaming and writhing in pain - yeah... imo that was a bit much - to say the least!

I think it's very possible that Silva capitalizes on a mistake from Macey and grabs a sub if she wins. Macy is just going to have to be sharp on the feet and avoid the ground at all costs.

I 100% agree. I think Jiri would have been even more of a problem if he had not been coming off the long layoff. He still looked pretty good in that fight but he did not look 100%. He definitely looked 100% in the Rackic fight. I do not think Alex is going to be able to deal with this version Jiri. Jiri tagged him multiple times in the first fight because of his poor defense and I think this time Jiri lands combinations that hurt Alex bad and he puts him away.

I'm picking Bobby Green all day. I think we are finally going to see Paddy truly tested and exposed. Paddy's striking is not that good and he's definitely not out striking someone as defensively slick as Bobby. I also don't think Paddy's grappling is good enough to get Bobby down. Paddy should have lost to Gordon and looked awful in that fight. Bobby is going to give him all kinds of problems on the feet.

I don't know man I just cannot see Anthony Smith getting past Ulberg right now. I would be stunned if he somehow got past the power and speed of Carlos. Smith has a chance but I think it's very slim. I think Ortega has a better chance of winning the longer the fight goes. He's very tough and he's never actually been knocked out so if Diego can't put him away early this fight could get very interesting. I'm definitely not fully counting Ortega out especially after that Yair come back.

Hes not the most skilled guy and his striking technique isn't great but he normally has good cardio and just keeps a busy high pace. I really thought he would easily outwork price but his cardio just completely dumped out on him. Outside of that everything else unfolded pretty much how I thought it would so I was very happy. I'm definitely not ruling out doing fight nights at all! I just want my content and my picks to have as much quality and accuracy as possible. As of right now Yes im only doing pay-per-views. But I've been deciding if I want to do these weekly for every fight night. I could do it i just like having my predictions and breakdowns be as accurate as possible and for them to have some real quality behind them. Some fight nights can be tricky with the lower card match ups and the bad judging. But i will do predictions for loaded fight nights that I feel are worthy 👊

He had a rough 1st round but I'm gonna give him a pass on that cause he hadnt fought in year. He knew Jailton was just gonna try and take him down the whole time and he was able to shake off enough rust in the 2nd to stop it.

Did you not watch the first round of that fight? Jailton literally took Blaydes down 9 times in that round and Curtis's back hit the mat within the first minute of the fight. It's even on the stats at the end of round with Anik confirming 9 official takedowns.

I'm sorry but you're saying this as if the fight went to a decision and you think the takedowns we're not enough to get Jailton the win. Blaydes TKO'd him so I'm confused? It doesn't matter if he couldn't hold him down or there was no substance to them they are still takedowns. Blaydes got dragged down on his hands and knees and slammed down multiple times. A takedown is a takedown and substance doesn't matter if someone finishes the fight. I picked Blaydes to beat Jailton also so I'm not on his hype train and I think alot of elite heavyweights avoid or stop his takedowns and beat him.
