I am a nursing student and just stumbled upon this after learning about Maslow's Needs Theory. You explained it so well that it is very understandable. Thank you!

After watching this video, I learned how a manager's perception of their employees influences factors in productivity. It is important for a company to have a strong management style that helps improve job satisfaction and increase commitment so that it can also help increase the company's productivity.

I was very confused about Theory X,Y and Z before watching this video. After watching I have a better understanding and gained useful knowledge not only in classroom but in real world.

I really enjoyed learning about how different businesses treat people based on Theory X, Y, and Z. I believe in all of these theories there is something to learn. I think that the way an employee works and is motivated should depend on which Theory is used. If there is an unmotivated employee, you should use theory X but if the employee is good at motivating themselves, you should use theory Y.
When it comes to theory Z I really love how they focus on long-term employment and slow promotion I think this will easily lead to a loyal and connected employee.

This video, which shows managers how to take advantage of their employees' motivations and strengths, is really helpful, in my opinion. What kind of businesses apply theory X or Y and theory Z is intriguing. America and Japan both have effective management approaches that they can borrow from; the two combined are powerful.

Understanding the different theories helped me understand why corporations/ businesses may be more successful than others. A company that dominates in Theory X reminds me of what occurs in sweatshops and how it's not any concern for the employees personally, but more about the product. While Theory Y pushes towards individualism and independence, depending on the employees, there still needs to be a sense of direction. This understanding also leads me to believe that theory Z is a good balance of both.

Theory X and Y's contrasting views on employee attitudes and management styles are eye-opening. And Theory Z's emphasis on cultural values and long-term employment relationships adds another layer to the discussion.

After watching this video, I learned that how managers view their employees influences their management style. Theory X managers view their employees negatively and assume they don’t like their job. So this results in a manager who is very authoritive and closely oversees their employees. Theory Y managers have a more positive view of their employees and are more friendly with them. This is the most popular one. Theory Z is where employees seek support and want to build relationships with their co-workers. Theory Z managers will be more involved with their employees and have them involved in desion making.

Learning and comprehending each theory, as well as the circumstances in which it would be most useful, is something that I consider to be of great importance. Both Theory X and Theory Y are distinct approaches to management, and as a result, I believe that Theory Z is the best way to combine the two approaches. Combining the management styles of Japan with the United States was something of a surprise to me, but I think it turned out rather well in the end.

I find this video very helpful, how managers use their employees strengths and what drives them to their advantage. What type of companies use theory X or Y & theory Z is fascinating. Both Japan and America have good management styles that they can learn from, a combination of both is compelling.

This was more interesting to learn what type of Theories are used in the workplace. For example, in the video theory x and theory y are said to be used the most in the workforce. This indicates that repetitive work and experts are what make up the mixture. Having high staff turnover and much freedom is what the workplace has a little bit of from each side.

I love this theory. Once I learned and understood this theory I wanted to strive to be a theory y manger. However, this video added in theory z and I was very intrigued. Now, I believe theory z is a wonderful combination of both.

It’s interesting to see Theory Z explained after learning solely about Theory X and Y from a previous class. It creates a lot more of a variety rather than the two polarizing ends of X and Y, blending strong leadership and employee flexibility together.

How managers use their employees' skills and motivators to their advantage is demonstrated in this video, which I find to be quite helpful. It's interesting to see what kinds of businesses use theory X, theory Y, or theory Z. Both Japan and America have effective management philosophies from which they might draw; a hybrid of the two is intriguing.

I think it is very interesting to learn and understand each theory, and in what case it would be best used for. Theory X and Y are very different management styles, so I believe Theory Z is a great combination to bring both together. Putting together Japan's managements and America's was a little unexpected to me but I believe it works very well.

I think understanding the things that drive individuals is important in the chase of efficiency and profitability. Competition in the market drive businesses to understand all the ways possible to improve. To bring the best out of their employees to increase the success of the individuals and business alike.

Each theory has its pros and cons and theory Z seems to create a good balance of both. Theory X and Y both seem like ultimate extremes which could use revision. However, there are some people that believe in those theories and at the end of the day, the employer has the power which method to implement.

Different managers will use different styles of management to fit the needs of the organization. I believe that neither X nor Y theory should be used solely because they show the exact opposite sides of a spectrum. While they both have their positive and negative factors, if I had to go with one I believe that I would go with theory X since giving workers too much freedom will make the company inefficient in the long run.

I think understanding all of these theories and using the good bits from each one could make a very well balanced manager. I don't think there is almost ever one inherently correct answer when it comes to management so when you use all of this information it could be beneficial.

Theory x takes pessimistic views, theory y takes optimistic and positive views, while theory z accepts work as part of the persons life. Theory z and y seem like they should prosper the most, as y is of positive management and z is more inclusive, but there are always exceptions to every rule.
