In fact --since I only watch your videos after I've solved the games myself --when you put up the randomized word ROVER I was jumping up and down cheering for you, because I knew you were going to be so pumped when you got a "Wordle in one!"
One thing that I especially enjoyed about this video is that it gave you a reason to show your randomizer setup, which I thought was a fun treat for all of us.

PS: too bad you don't still post your upcoming starter words because those who choose to solve with the same starter word would have all had the same Victory with you! LOL I wonder what kind of Blitz that would have put in the stats in the stats that are tracked. LOL
I did the same thing you did on Strands -- assumed at first that it was types of pie. Instead, it was ingredients for pecan pie.
Tom Hanks was born the same year as me and it seems not that long since he was one of the new , up and coming stars. Oh dear.

Excellent connections solve too! I also geussed that Philippine was the final sea though I feel like I should have known it since my partner is Filipino.
This crossword was annoying to me too, but I knew the opera clue which I think helped a fair bit for the few words that I needed those letter clues on. You made me laugh on "Gud". At first I thought, that might have been a better answer because 'sup' was silly, but thinking further, I probably would have been mad if it was gud.
I wonder how many people got pecan first on strands today. I feel like that was kind of a red herring. I also got butter second and thought, "Thats not a pie is it?" I also looked for chess because chess pie is a thing and seemed like a trick NYT would try to play on us.

If it makes you feel better, wordlebot (NYT's wordle-solving AI) ALSO failed today. So you at least tied with the computer that was designed to play this game. Lol

That was so lucky! I got my wordle in 3 today: court, roman, rover. The purple and blue categories from connections stumped me. I knew the baltic/red/black seas but ran out of guesses on the last one, I haven't seen that many Tom Hanks movies, not enough to know the titles at least.

Probabilistically speaking, you're bound to eventually guess a word on the first try. From your stats you've played around 800 games. Rounding up there's roughly 2400 words in your list. Which means that there's actually a roughly 1/3 chance that you've guessed on your first try within the first 800 games. There might be more nuances in the probability math that I'm not accounting for, but this is probably still roughly accurate

Ive had a 1 guess wordle before. I always start my wordles with bread, then ghost then lumpy. So when the word was "bread" i got it in 1

Philadelphia is an excellent movie! it also just happens to be my hometown.
I didn't get the OPERA clue at first either, but was able to figure it out once I got the other clues.
Strands took me a while because I kept thinking of fruit pies and when I couldn't find them, I just started looking for any word. eventually, I found VANILLA and then the puzzle just clicked into place for me. pecan pie happens to be my favorite pie! 😄😋
