A huge salute to the veteran who saved the day. I am a slightly disabled veteran and am now 77 years old. I was a medic and throughout my civilian years, my Army training always came to the forefront in an emergency situation. The training I received was ingrained in me. I think instead of dui's being sent to prison they should be given a stint in the US Army. I think they would in the end become a useful member of society instead of just "doin' time"!
I'm a veteran as well. When I was in the service if you had a DUI you could be kicked out. I remember we had a battalion Captain's Mast on the grinder. He was released from service that day because of a DUI. The problem with putting someone in the service for a DUI is they could do it again. But I guess if they learned from it it would be good. You see we also had a 1st Class group that would pick you up if you drank too much and needed a ride. Alternatives were in place and he still chose to drink and drive.

Wow! This just reminded me of how some veterans are sort of neglected in old age, yet their scars deserve better treatment during their vulnerable years. That being said, I hope the veteran lady was rewarded monetarily for her smartness!

Nice story but Air Marshalls don't wear airline uniforms. Lets see now. First she is in an aisle seat then she is in a window seat. Also the interior of the planes kept changing. Last but not least. If the guy was being protected by a security detail they would have had the seat next to him.
This truly is an incredible story. It stretches the band of credibility well beyond breaking point.
Service men/ women I think will make better choices than some of the security guards as proven in the video

These "stories" are colorful and filled with so many twists and turns. While listening, as the video continued, I thought this is just too much to be true. Then I looked at the description of the video and realized "stories" meant….stories.
The undercover business man should not have spoken to the media. The passenger video taping the female veteran should NEVER submit his video online etc. Exposure would be bad even though she is retired. Public could look up her past and endanger her.

So he was undercover. He wasn’t being mean. Someone mentioned in one of the posts that she didn’t look elderly. Well there r people that don’t look thier age. My mother was 83 when she died. The nurses that was taking care care of her when she was taken to the er we’re arguing about her age. They asked me & told them. They were thinking she was in her 60’s. This was a brave lady. I don’t believe this is a real event. But it is entertaining.
You're right however I suspect it was a re-creation of a real life true story. It was evident in the change of aircraft interior, the repeat of the same staff and passengers going up the aisle. I think it was taken from an actual event which occurred on a flight. Although entertaining the reality could have been an awful lot worse, so the actions that they showed - by all were incredibly brave and more than likely saved the passengers life that they were after. If you then base it on a real life situation then it does send a shiver up your spine!!! The security staff do a phenomenal job to make safety the number 1 priority as well as cabin staff who do an amazing job already. Try and look on the story in that light. ❤

I gave it 2 or 3 minutes of drawn out bs, then quit. That woman is 50 at the oldest. Not even approaching "elderly, " and half of the photos have her in a window seat.

Overall this story is pretty good. However, the journalist's camera work needs to be removed or severely altered. The large camera shown in the video was absurd. It made for an ongoing interruption to the flow. Nobody seated in a passenger seat 2 rows behind the retiree would have the freedom to make all those pictures. Oh yes, they could try, but neither the security team nor the criminal gang would have put up with it. Sure, there can be a journalist also quietly paying attention, but he/she would have to be more discreet, as in taking notes, and perhaps discreetly using a cell phone camera to snap individuals who stood up or walked the aisle.
There should’ve been an announcement that upon landing all the passengers remain seated… So that they could get the device off the plane immediately and to the bomb squad. THEN the passengers can disembark and not block the Marshall. The writing isn’t bad… But if the device was set to go off 10 minutes after landing… I’ve been on planes where for some reason or another everyone didn’t disembark in under 10 minutes.

Most likely fake. A genuine cop would have asked the head flight attendant to forward his problem to the Captain. A passenger has no authority. No, this is definitely a FAKE.
Verbal diarrhoea is tragic and I have every sympathy for anyone who suffers from this condition, except if I’m asking for directions to the toilet.
Without her, you all would be dead, everyone on that plane should send her flowers or candy, or if you can afford it, something wild, like a Vacation to where she wants to go, because really, you all could have just died if she hadn’t been there and all her training behind her, wow, get that woman something, not that she would expect anything, which would make it even better. 😊
These stories are pretty much all the same. I’m beginning to think it’s just a scam story. Always a veteran, always a jerk, and always “just happens” to be a journalist looking for a story. It’s takes 20 minutes to hear the same rigamarole.

what movie is this fantasy from? really, why blow him up 10 minutes after landing, why not just blow the plane up in flight? are the enemies concerned about collateral damage? this is like when the enemy takes time to explain why he's doing his evil deed that gives the hero a chance to overtake him and save the day.
